We tried to support Afriforums initiative for refuse removal of recyclable material, which is a paid service. All because we think it’s a good idea to support community efforts. They didn’t come and collect three times (after they said they are on their way and we are on their schedule. So actually they are worse than the Municipality, hard to believe. If you can’t deliver don’t venture into that field, you stuff up your reputation
Paid over R5500 for one nights stay over without any conclusive diagnosis and no improvement. In desperation decided to move to another vet and they managed to diagnose the issue within 15 (yes, fifteen) minutes doing some simple diagnostic tests which Valley Farm neglected to do. *********** and ******* artists to boot. For example, charged R375 rand for each updating call that could not have lasted 2 minutes each. Will provide all the case particulars to the Veterinary Council - let’s see what constitutes ethical behaviour and/or incompetence.
Why can’t Takelot schedule specific delivery times instead of “tomorrow” or “Monday”. This means you need to wait all day for a package which is just stupid. .Couriers also do not let you know they are on the way or near . Their competitors do this - I suppose I will just buy from them in future.
Nedbank has a standing practice of moving debit orders a day earlier if the end of the month falls on a weekend - other banks don’t. It smacks of a lack of trust in their clients or just plain greediness to get a leg up on their competitors. Would you trust them to look out for you as a client with this type of attitude?
Skybucks App was probably designed by the tea****. Or at least somebody that has no clue about app design. Siestog.
Bought online, paid for the item (of course amount went through no problem) and waiting to get confirmation that I can pick up the item in store, but after 2pm - easy, right? Not so! No pick up confirmation, for which you need a QR code (which of course was not received) so can’t even drive to store and ask. Can’t contact customer service either as they close at 1pm on a Sunday (ie before 2pm). Last time they see me. A joke.
I just found out that a virtual debit card that was used before can actually be used again WITHOUT a new pin. I was under the impression you can’t use a VIRTUAL card again without providing a new pin (which changes every few minutes on a virtual card). But no, some merchants can actually use it for a new transaction WITHOUT you authorising transaction with a new number. Shame on you FNB. Why have this supposedly safe system in the first place if you can bypass it? Will be taking it further with the banking regulator.
Kopano assisted me with adding my dog's picture to my pet insurance, quick and pain free experience
I don 't get it that all motor dealerships (not exclusively McCarthy but they are the latest) I have dealt with the last couple of years have this window chip repair call when you take your car in for a service - i.e. someone phones you and tell you you have chips on your windscreen and offer to repair it. Now I know my cars and there are no chips to repair which leads to the logical conclusion that this is a **** - why offer to repair something that is not broken? Interestingly it is never the dealership itself that calls you but a third party. But the dealership a) tells them your car is there for a service b) gives them your number without your permission - which is actually worse and of course ********. Just stop it!
