I'm very dissapointed in this company. I would have received my cash back bonus now in October month with the amount of R10000. I logged into my account today and I saw that my cash back was removed and will pay out in February 2026. My policy also went up from R1800 to R2400 without my knowledge. I'm cancelling this policy today. I'm really mad about my cash back bonus that was removed without my knowledge after I paid my premiums in full and I also remained claim free.
Shameful bank. My fiance is on the verge of tears. He can't get hold of his money now for two months. There is now branch to go for help. His struggling with verification. He did send his cellphone numbers that's been Fica and his change of address. He phone every day numerous times. Everything they told him an agent will phone him back. At one point the agent put the phone foen. He did log a complaint at discovery bsnk complaints. He can't access his account and HD has children to support. It's like Disvovery stole his money. They font help you. It's so frustrating and it feels like you want to cry of frustration. The verification process is now taking more than 60 days. And in today's life you can't afford to go without your money. My fiance did open an account with Nedbsnk in the meantime so his salary can be funded there. Just waiting for Discovery to verify his account so we can withdraw the money and then will close Discovery bank. I also cancelled my policies too due to this discontent of this people. Such rude customer service. No one every phones back no one helps. Tomorrow he will log a complaint with the ombudsman for banking. Please people stay away from this pathetic bank. Not worth the frustration and tears. Will warn all my family and friends
