I would like to mention the following concerns noted: I had 2 claims as below: 1st claim for June 2022 considered, AOL signed and AoL payment received on the 19 July 2024 for the claim. Excess refund still outstanding, Car rental approved with Europcars pick up on 27 July 24 - and return 27 Aug 2024 (30days) 2nd claim on the 22 June 2024 (Pothole incident) - whilst waiting for the rental approval from the broker, I was still using my car, unfortunately, I hit a pothole going to a work conference and logged the claim telephonically with the broker on the same day (i.e. 22 July 2024) on the same day we discussed the rental and broker informed me that the rental wasn't on my policy. I have forwarded the broker my latest policy as proof thereof, the broker subsequently booked the car rental, and agreed that the rental will be extended should the panel beaters take longer due to the 2nd claim, I have called on numerous occasions ( 6, 7, 12(9times) 14, 23 28 August 2024) about the extension, the excess refund and rental and eventually when I was in touched with broker on the Wednesday 28,th August the broker forgot to do the extension of the rental and promised to do it same day. Again on 'Thursday the 29 August 2024, this is when the broker called me to let me know that my car was removed on the 5 June 2024 until the vehicle is repaired and proof thereof submitted to the broker.(I'm not understanding this process, so if I understand this correctly, my car was and or is still not insured(uninformed) ) as well as that the car can't be extended and that the rental is for only for 30 days per claim, we had an upfront agreement to extend the rental. I subsequently paid the Europcars for the extra days and returned the rental. So, I hope you can see why I am disheartened and dissatisfied. And I also hope you can understand why I humbly seeking for your authority to assist in this regard. In all fairness, I never had a problem with the broker / insurance, although the broker and the insurance tried to assist me, it's just disappointment for the misleading information provided resulted in no cover and extra expenses. thanks for taking the time to consider my review. PS. i have raised the concerned with the insurer on the 30 August 2024, to date (4 Sept 2024) no response and /or an update received
I have joined matrix on the 31 December 2021 and paid every month the amount of R350.79. On the 15 APRIL 2023, I hit a pothole at 21:15 near the GOLDEN HIGHWAY, it's the 3 August 2022, and the claim is still not approved and advised that an internal investigation will be conducted. not sure what they are insinuating, but this is unacceptable. they send us to get 3 quotes, they make us run around for something that's not approved as well as, there wasn't any requirements for when we will claim for the tire, we had to take a picture of where the pothole was, it's such a busy road, however, I took a video, but they are still not satisfied. I'm currently driving without a spare wheel, due to the delay.
on the 25 Nov 2017 I bought a Samsung actv D-Wash topload washing machine from Makro Steubens Valley with an extended warranty till November 2022. in Dec 2021 my machine packed up and I continuously queried with Makro, i.e., phone calls, whatsapp messages, email you name it, and they were looking for all the reasons not to assist me and conveniently couldn't find my macro card details on the system. I still continuously and politely followed up with the extended warranty team on 0860 300 999, still no joy, with all sorts of excuses, not thinking or caring that each call cost me R100 and nobody bothers to call you back when the calls drop. I have been holding on for more than 45 minutes every time I called. Today the 17 January 2023, I'm politely following up again for them to tell me after 40 minutes of holding on that my claim is complicated, and I must call the general manager of extended warranty for further assistance and the call dropped again. i humbly asking for your assistance, I just want my washing machine repaired. thanking you in advance for the assistance. thanks B
