Our experience with Jan was highly disappointing. While he initially appeared professional and accommodating, the actual service fell far short of expectations. On the first day, no preparation or waterproofing was done as outlined in the quote. For example, a section was marked "complete," even though it lacked the promised waterproofing. Attempts to raise concerns were met with deflection and aggressive, inappropriate personal remarks made in front of his team. Jan showed no oversight throughout the project. He has ignored my emails and blocked me on WhatsApp, making direct resolution impossible, although he continues to communicate with my husband. When we followed up regarding our last WhatsApp message, he claimed we had told his team we were happy with everything. This was despite us pointing out issues to his team at the time and stating that we would discuss them further with Jan. He also referred to our WhatsApp messages as “hate messages,” even though they were simply explanations of the issues we were experiencing. Additionally, he claimed we didn’t pay for 2 x 5L of paint supp****. However, most of the paint was used by his team during the last touch-up work and left us with very little to address remaining issues ourselves. In effect, we are being charged for materials they used to fix their own mistakes. Jan mentioned he would fix the issues but insisted it be done during office hours. Considering the time we’ve already had to take off work for his team to address problems, this is no longer feasible, as his team doesn’t work on weekends. The Results: We are now left with a significant snag list: Large, hollow bubbles that will crack and peel over time. Paint peeling due to being app**** over ***eon droppings and dirt in the garden. Paint marks all over our pavement, including two large stains of unknown origin. Interior walls with bubbles caused by rushing the job and not allowing the waterproofing on walls to dry properly. Two interior roof cracks that were repaired three times but remain unfixed. Holes throughout the interior, including the garage, that were not addressed but painted over. If you’re considering this service provider, we strongly recommend thoroughly reviewing feedback before proceeding.

We recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Acrobranch in Modderfontein. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a fun day turned into a frustrating and upsetting experience when two of our phones were ******. The theft occurred from a large black storage container near our table. We suspect it happened during a commotion on the blue course. A person began screaming uncontrollably while staff attempted to assist them. Based on timestamps from our photos, this individual had been on the course for a while, with staff repeatedly trying to communicate with them before the outburst. This dramatic scene drew a crowd near our table, creating the perfect distraction for the theft. To make matters worse, when we reported the incident, a staff member named Thabo Leboko offered to assist us. However, his approach raised serious concerns. He asked us to provide sensitive information, including: Both phone numbers Phone PINs Emails linked to the phones Passwords to those email accounts This request was alarming, as even service providers like MTN don’t ask for such sensitive details. We refused to provide the information. No further investigation from management. This lack of assistance has left us deeply disappointed.
They didn't register the transfer in accordance with the sale agreement including the special conditions. Ignored the special conditions completely, left us to sort it out with seller. Left so many messages for Maria Dominicus she never returned my calls, managed to get hold of her on her cell phone, but she started screaming at me, telling me that she's busy consulting with a client. According to Marto Lafitte & Associated as the Conveyancers it's not their responsibility to make sure that they register the transfer according to the offer to purchase agreement with the special conditions. After receiving more info from other Conveyancers, I asked Rui Marto the Director of Marto Lafitte & Associated why they didn't register the transfer in accordance with the sale agreement including the special conditions. NO COMMENTS FROM RUI!!!!!!
