MY EXPERIENCE WITH THERMO COATING
In my experience, the workmanship at my property did not meet the standard I expected based on the written agreement and our walkthrough discussions. Several items that I believed were included in the quoted amount did not, in my understanding, seem fully documented in the final agreement or completed in the work carried out. From my perspective, the surfaces did not appear to have been cleaned as described in the agreement, and within 14 days I noticed paint peeling in multiple areas. During rectification, I observed peeling being painted over without, in my view, the underlying issue being addressed, and further peeling continued daily. I also observed what looked to me like incomplete waterproofing; nail holes and cracks that did not seem properly prepared or repaired; and finishes that appeared to show roller lines, brush marks, paint drips, and patchiness. I also noticed defects on two ceilings. Areas related to damp proofing that I believed were still damp were painted, which in my experience led to blistering within 27 days. When I raised these concerns, the responses I received felt dismissive to me or were attributed to causes that did not match what I was observing. Many issues were repeatedly described as “not part of the agreement,” which I personally found unhelpful. My email concerns were, in my experience, met with what I perceived as false accusations rather than constructive engagement. No formal inspection or sign-off procedure was provided to me when the job was marked as completed. Based on my experience alone, I am unable to recommend Thermo Coating.

Very impressed with Thermo Coating
We’re really happy we came across Thermo Coating to handle the painting of our home. From the start, the team was friendly, professional and easy to work with. Caution Regarding Thermo Coating
Our experience with Jan was highly disappointing. While he initially appeared professional and accommodating, the actual service fell far short of expectations. On the first day, no preparation or waterproofing was done as outlined in the quote. For example, a section was marked "complete," even though it lacked the promised waterproofing. Attempts to raise concerns were met with deflection and aggressive, inappropriate personal remarks made in front of his team. Jan showed no oversight throughout the project. He has ignored my emails and blocked me on WhatsApp, making direct resolution impossible, although he continues to communicate with my husband. When we followed up regarding our last WhatsApp message, he claimed we had told his team we were happy with everything. This was despite us pointing out issues to his team at the time and stating that we would discuss them further with Jan. He also referred to our WhatsApp messages as “hate messages,” even though they were simply explanations of the issues we were experiencing. Additionally, he claimed we didn’t pay for 2 x 5L of paint supp****. However, most of the paint was used by his team during the last touch-up work and left us with very little to address remaining issues ourselves. In effect, we are being charged for materials they used to fix their own mistakes. Jan mentioned he would fix the issues but insisted it be done during office hours. Considering the time we’ve already had to take off work for his team to address problems, this is no longer feasible, as his team doesn’t work on weekends. The Results: We are now left with a significant snag list: Large, hollow bubbles that will crack and peel over time. Paint peeling due to being app**** over ***eon droppings and dirt in the garden. Paint marks all over our pavement, including two large stains of unknown origin. Interior walls with bubbles caused by rushing the job and not allowing the waterproofing on walls to dry properly. Two interior roof cracks that were repaired three times but remain unfixed. Holes throughout the interior, including the garage, that were not addressed but painted over. If you’re considering this service provider, we strongly recommend thoroughly reviewing feedback before proceeding.

After sales service Thermo Coating
Thermo Coating painted my house on the outside including the perimeter walls , gates and palisades in 2023. I needed to have some touch ups done on the palisades and walls and without hesitation Jan came to my house and immediately agreed to do the work as per their guarantee . 4 people arrived and did all the work in half a day to my satisfaction. Quality of work and after sales service is fantastic and I would recommend them any time

After sales service Thermo Coating
Thermo Coating painted my house on the outside including the perimeter walls , gates and palisades in 2023. I needed to have some touch ups done on the palisades and walls and without hesitation Jan came to my house and immediately agreed to do the work as per their guarantee . 4 people arrived and did all the work in half a day to my satisfaction. Quality of work and after sales service is fantastic and I would recommend them any time
