We booked a room at this Shalamanzi Lodge yesterday and found out today that we need to travel to Cape town weekend for work this weekend. I know they have a strict policy of not paying back any money if you change or cancel. But life happens and i would at least think that they would be reasonable and pay half the money back. But they dont even care.. told me to find someone else to stay there for the Friday night and let them pay us back. There reviews on the internet is not good .. makes me wonder if this is why they dont pay back any money.. and have a strict no payback policy.
I was phoned by one of the Mondo Mobile consultants to upgrade my MTN phone. The previous companies told me that i will need to pay in because i am upgrading earlier. This consultant told me on 24 November 2022 that i will not be paying anything extra because she checked it on the system. We did the upgrade and at the end of December 2022 i paid R900 more than the price communicated to me. I phone them to check what was going on and was told that i was still paying for my old device. I asked that they listens to the voice recording because id did not agree to that! The reply was that my case was invalid.. according to an sms i received! I phoned them again and spoke to Stef and wanted to know again what was going on. He said he will call me back and that i can go into a MTN store and ask one of the consultants there to request the voice recording on my behalf. The lady at the Castle gate store told me they lie and that they are not allowed to request that, she also checked the system and found that the upgrade was done with an open account.. if i uses more minutes or data i will be bill for that.. also something i did not agree to. . I phoned Mondo again spoke to Albertus. He told me to go back to the store because only they can request that and that he will phone me back with the best store to go to who can assist me.. still no luck. I cant understand why no one wants to give me this recording. That is the only way for me to proof that they make me pay for something i did not agree to. I even contacted Icasa and logged a complaint with them, because at this stage NO at Mondo wanted to assist me and MTN just say they cant help me i must contact them. This is unfair to me as the client.. i will nit accept that they charged me extra and don't want to send me the voice recording
