Calling their call centre is a nightmare. My call was answered after 6 minutes, Zunaid then promptly put me back in the queue. I waited a further 6 minutes. Althea Andrews then took my call, she took my details and query. She told me to wait for 'a second' and put me on hold. She gets back on the line AFTER another 12 or 13 MINUTES - Apparently 'a second' means 12 or 13 minutes at Discovery Invest. I had HAD enough by then. She could not answer my query nor could she give me a turn-around time for the answer. I asked for a manager. Apparently no managers were available but Althea said she emailed her manager Takalani Phaladi to call me. Surprise, surprise, he certainly did NOT make the call back to me. My query still has not been attended to. This is deeply disappointing and embarrassing for a brand like Discovery which supposedly prides itself on accuracy, efficiency and service delivery. Is this treating the client fairly?
Hello Vodacom Your consultant Olivia called me on 26/04/2023. She was going to get back to me regarding the extra charges. She advised that she would send me an email to confirm our discussion - I have not received this email nor any interim feedback regarding the extra charges. Though I must say the Cancellation quote came through very quickly. Well it is 03/05/2023 and still no email or resolution. How long does it take to investigate issues? Olivia did not indicate a turn around time, so i am just sitting in limbo while you guys take more money on my debit order!!!!!!
Vodacom seems to think it is okay to just open contracts for me without my permission. Trying to escalate ***** is such difficult process - I was on the phone ( a Vodashop consultant called the head office) to escalate for more than 2 hours in February and I still was not able to escalate. I was finally given an email address to state my problem. Last month I found an extra chare of R150 which i have not authosied. I went through the same process BUT alas this time they have NOT sorted it out - I have been charged for this amount again!!!!!!!!! AND surprise surprise they do not give out reference numbers,
