Discovery doesn't care about their customers, only their money. Everytime I submit a request, whether it be through a financial advisor, or directly, the request get, delayed and Cancelled, almost purposefully, and between a week and a month later I get informed about missing information, or illegible forms. Everytime. This company has absolutely zero customer service, and they don't really care about how they are negatively affecting their customers lives. How do we get them investigated by a higher power?

I am disappointed with Discovery Invest services. I sent a request for partial withdrawal instructions. They request copy of ID, I sent it through and financial adviser sent through, they decided to cancel the withdrawal instruction.

I get a monthly Annuity pay out but on 24 April 2026 I requested Discovery Invest to adjust my tax rate lower. They acknowledged my letter and confirmed it will be implemented. However on 6 May 2026 I received my pay out but the tax deducted was the normal high rate and my request was never implemented. I am battling to get this addressed since 6 May 2026 but no result. Their response is so slow and the staff dealing with clients not up to scratch.

Calling their call centre is a nightmare. My call was answered after 6 minutes, Zunaid then promptly put me back in the queue. I waited a further 6 minutes. Althea Andrews then took my call, she took my details and query. She told me to wait for 'a second' and put me on hold. She gets back on the line AFTER another 12 or 13 MINUTES - Apparently 'a second' means 12 or 13 minutes at Discovery Invest. I had HAD enough by then. She could not answer my query nor could she give me a turn-around time for the answer. I asked for a manager. Apparently no managers were available but Althea said she emailed her manager Takalani Phaladi to call me. Surprise, surprise, he certainly did NOT make the call back to me. My query still has not been attended to. This is deeply disappointing and embarrassing for a brand like Discovery which supposedly prides itself on accuracy, efficiency and service delivery. Is this treating the client fairly?

I am utterly dissapointed in Discovery's service.I have been passed from pillar to post made promises this whole week that wasn't kept.Wrost is I asked to speak to a Team Leader Queeneth Ngcamu who also promised to give me confirmation of payment on Friday and didn't I had to follow up.She confirmed funds would reflect last night and it still doesn't reflect.I can understand why the teams are so useless cause they are led this way.Discovery is not worth their price.I am thinking of cancelling my medical aid that I pay over 9k every month for me and my family.
