I joined LA Health in January 2025 from another medical aid (Sizwe Hosmed) in joining the medical aid i was told they are the best but i cant say the same on the 22nd of February my daughter had a asthma attack at school and she had to be admitted, on arrival at Flora hospital it was discovered that she needed to be admitted urgently and the problem of moving forward with the admission was that the system was saying that it says refer to standard and they cannot proceed with the admission and i need to take my daughter home or to the public hospital, i had to take her home at 3 am in the morning and stay awake and watch her till 8 am to call the medical aid and take her back, i called the medical aid in the morning of Saturday and i spoke to Cecil who told me there is nothing he can do because its a pre existing condition and they cant assist me, i requested to speak to his manager and the manager was apparently busy and would call me back, the manager called me back told be that he is very sorry this will never happen again and i will not experience this again as i don't have a waiting period, the authorisation number was provided on the Saturday morning, fast forward to two weeks later unfortunately for me my husband gets a seizure which he has never had before and i get to the hospital and the same situation happens it says refer to standard again but the hospital was very lenient and admitted my husband in ICU but made me sign a bill of R173000.00 in case the medical aid doesn't pay, i call the medical aid on Saturday again but couldn't get through to them, today on Monday i call the medical aid LA Health and i'm told because of non disclosure and there is nothing they can do, i spoke to Bianca who tells me there is nothing she can do, i ask to speak to her supervisor who's name is Roymor and she says she cant do anything because they have to send everything to the forensic department, when i said i'm reporting to hello peter and that was the quickest she said she is escalating the matter, 5 minutes later i get a authorisation number because she says she had to make a few call. LA health is the worst medical aid i tell you
They are the greatest scammers and liars, they trick you into believing you will get your money don't lose hope, knowing very well that you will never get that money paid to you. They are heartless 💔 they are good at convincing you to pay but you will never get your money I promise you.
These people are scammers they will convince you to trade knowing that they will dissappear after taking money from your account then fidelity investments comes in as if they are there to assist you and take money from you as well, this is all a syndicate, these people work together all over the world. They promise you the money will be in your account in 4 hours and it's all a lie
I've been scammed an amount of R80000 by these people by the name of Lisa Godsent, Travis who is said to be the manager and Mark who is said to be the Ceo of the company, I was introduced by Lisa who messaged me and said I should invest just 500 and I will get 10 times the amount of which I did, after that she said my trading amount shot up so I need to pay 2500 for upgrading of which I did, after that I was told to pay another 3500 for network fees in order for the money to be paid I had to borrow money because I was told I need to do it urgently, everytime I thought I'm done paying I'm asked to pay more till I reached 80000 I kept on borrowing money from people to meet up to their demands, last night I was told to pay 6600 to have the money reflected in my account of which I did and borrowed once again, my last conversation with Travis the manager said he is confirming my payment, till now I'm still waiting, Lisa has blocked me, mark is not responding and Travis is also not responding to my messages (Be fast dear You don't have time to be typing here) this is a message from Travis yesterday (This is not time to judge Follow my instructions and at least get paid like other clients) this looked so promising and I trusted that I will get my money as promised but all of them have ghosted me now.
My problem of blocked accounts has been partly resolved, thanks to Zinhle, Sheroline, Nokulunga and the brixton branch staff and manager who went out of their way to have some of the accounts activated. Much appreciated 🙏 would like to have all the blocked accounts to be activated
My query on activating my family members accounts has not been resolved as yet, I'm being sent from Pilar to post, the branch says the contact center can resolve the issue and the contact center says the branch can resolve the issue, I'm stuck as family members are furious that their accounts are blocked and school fees cannot be paid, kids have been suspended due to fees not paid and we are not getting any assistance from either of them bank or contact center. I'm really lost for words because nothing is getting sorted. I'm really disappointed in the service I'm receiving from capitec bank, it's really disgusting and disappointing honestly.
We as clients of capitec are extremely unhappy because our accounts have been blocked, simply because I transferred money from my account to my mother (princess) my aunt (Felicia) and my cousin (Melisa) all the people receive money from or transfer money to accounts have been stopped just because I received money from them or they received money from me, it is said the money comes from a fraudulent account, I've been banking with capitec for the past 8 years if it was fraudulent why don't they check previous transactions from the same people in the past year, this is really frustrating because we are being sent from pillar to post and no one has a straight answer from capitec, everyday its a different story, first it was said they have a problem with their system then it was no there's fraudulent activity in the account but we are a working family we borrow each other money and pay each other back by bank transfer or cash send. Why is it a problem if we borrow each other money, why do we need permission from the bank, the amounts are not even in the thousands, it's 500, 100, 1000, why are we not getting assistance when we've been clients for so long. We have bills to pay our money is stuck in our accounts for no reason as the reasons don't make any sense. We are even thinking of changing banks the way we are so unhappy with capitec bank
