ER Consulting @ Busamed Hillcrest Hospital WORST SERVICE EVER
I broke my arm in June 2022 and had to have an emergency operation at Busamed Hillcrest Hospital. My medical aid and gap cover covered everything (to my knowledge). Now (February 2023) 8 months later I get a call from a debt collector stating that I owe ER Consulting money. During these past 8 months I have not received one call nor email with an invoice, not once did anyone from ER Consulting try to contact me. When questioning them about why they failed to contact me their response 'We did not have your contact details'. Surely you obtain contact details from the hospital? They also did not submit this claim to my medical aid and only submitted it now. My medical aid only paid a small portion of this amount and now I am unable to submit to my gap cover as my operation was done more than 6 months ago. I will definitely think twice about going to any hospital where ER Consulting practice as their service is disgusting and unethical.
