The service was excellent to get my third car insured.
My car was booked in on the 07 December 2022 at the Zambezi Auto ARC now called LMG Accident Repair Center through Discovery Insure. I started receiving WhatsAPP updates from LMG ARC on the 10th January 2023 until the 07 January 2023 regarding my car's progress. As I was concern not receiving anymore updates I tried calling them directly since I had no joy of getting through to the manager of the center. I then decided to drive through on the 28th Februrary 2023 as it was the estimated completion date for repairs. When I arrived at the center I was told that they were still awaiting parts and there is a possibility that my car will be written off. I then insisted to see my car and when I got to the car, the two damaged left doors were taken off, the two left seats were also taken off and nothing was done to the car for the past three months. I was advised to call my insurer to get a clear indication on the way forward which I did the following day and was taken corner to pilar about the way forward in fixing my car.
My accident claim was logged on the 26 November 2022. A book in in date was arranged to take my car at LMG Accident Repair Center. Updates were send to me that my car was in repair stage on the 13 December 2022.On the 09 February 2023 repairs were delayed due to additional damages and resumed again on the same date. This was the last update I received on the 09th February 2023 with an estimated completion date 28th February 2023. On the 28th February I went to LMG ARC as they also stoped updating me on the 07th February 2023 about my car and only to find out that no repairs were done on my car. When I asked why I was told that they are still waiting for parts and also told that there is a comment on the system that the Car might be written off and I must call my insurer to get proper confirmation. I called Discovery Insure the next day and they also did not get proper feedback and was told by one of their claim specialist that they have made a follow up with the assessor. I tried to escalated the matter to the senior claim specialist as I have been paying the bank installment and the insurance claim for the past three months for a car that is not attended.
