I registered a claim with Discovery Insure on 21 December 2015, as to date today 13 January 2016, the claims department still can't tell me when the settlement will be done. And this is for a relative small claim of R20 000.00.<br> What is extremely frustrating, is that I have to phone them for feedback. They don't keep you up to date with the claim at all. In fact, when I phone, the consultants stories for the delayed process differs every time. I will not recommend anybody to go to Discovery Insure. <br>
I ordered custom made overalls from Phoenix Industrial. After receiving written confirmation for a delivery date of the 15/16 th July, I still don't have my overalls, and today is the 20th July. I had to phone them everyday to hear when the overalls would be ready, they never phoned me to apologise or inform me of a late delivery. Very poor customer service indeed!
I went through the trouble off making a booking for a car from Avis to be delivered to me at Precision & Sons panelbeaters in Pretoria West at 10:00 AM Monday morning 16 Feb'15. The booking was confirmed via e-mail with a booking ref nr. After numerous calls to the call centre, I phoned the Pretoria West branch myself, only for my car to be delivered 75 minutes late! The manager from the Pta West branch said they will upgrade me to a better car, and in the end I got a Fiesta. REALLY???!!!
