As a customer of takealot.com since 2016, I have been loyal and have never had any complaints until recently. It appears that Takealot is becoming increasingly indifferent to its customers, prioritizing the acquisition of more sellers to dominate the market. Since last year, they have begun holding our responsible for damaged products, sometimes even it is the seller who sent them damaged or their warehouse inspection personnel mishandled them. This policy is both baffling and unacceptable to me. I hope that platforms like Shein or Amazon will have warehouse in South Africa soon. This would provide buyers with more options, and at the very least, I would definitely try to minimize my purchases from Takealot.
Just had the best experience with iKids! Ordered the dinosaur party package set, and it exceeded my expectations. Amazing quality, quick delivery, and my kid absolutely loved it! Highly recommend for hassle-free and fantastic party planning.
I'm extremely disappointed with the service from the online store. I bought from online and returned the frame 2 months ago to Canal Walk branch and still haven't received my refund. It's unacceptable and I won't be shopping online again.
I recently purchased the Coline Corner Sofa Set from their Johannesburg store and couldn't be happier. The quality of the furniture is excellent, and the customer service from Brendan was top-notch.
