If you are waiting for a package during the 7H00 - 19h00 delivery time. Just make sure that you are at home because their courier CONVERGEX, will not try to accomodate you even though you contacted the head office to make arrangements at 08H53 and the delivery was at 15H06. Driver said he had too many deliveries at the mall but opted to wait for me to go to the designated address and wait for me.
ORDER # 111642 We ordered online for a delivery and paid. We got an SMS telling us that the order was cancelled. This was 29th February 2024. We called through and assured that direct payment for a refund would be done. On the Monday we called head office and they again guaranteed us that a direct payment was made. As of the 08 March 2024, no payments have been received from KFC. They cancelled the order because they could not find the delivery driver.
I have been helping some pensioners in this town. They asked me if I could look at their SolarX solar system. They tried and were told that they need a CoC and then never heard from SolarX again. I told them that I know nothing about solar systems but I would contact SolarX myself. SolarX has no interest in assisting us, they have no after sales technicians. I would stay clear of this company. These pensioners are 82 and 94 years old respectfuly.
I have been dealing with Amptek for over a year now. I ordered a complete gaming pc but wanted to make a couple of changes. Shawn was very patient with me and advised me with compatibility of the parts. We did this over a whole day over whatsapp and at the end of the day I had a completely new pc. I did my last adjustment on Monday afternoon and I received my pc by Thursday morning. I live 100km outside of JHB. Recently I wanted some RAM for an old pc. I was advised on compatibility issues, I waited to make payment. They contacted the manufacturer that sent me a reply that the RAM would work. I paid at 14H45 on Tuesday and received my RAM Wednesday at 13H30. Like I said, I live far away fom any major hub. Amptek is friendly, very proffessional and extremely efficient. I am based in Bronkhorstspruit. I had an order in JHB for the next day. I went onto the RADICAL REFURBS site and saw that they had exactly what I needed and they had 28 units available. I sent them an order on their after hours number at 07h11 and drove through to Glenhazel. I got there at 09h00 and presumed that they had at least started with my order as I got no reply to my message from earlier. They front stall knew nothing about my order so I told them and showed they that i sent a message to Irwin. He received and read the message on his after hours number. They tried to accommodate me until Irwin came into the room. Telling me that 2 hours was too short notice to order a computer. When I pointed out that it said he had 28 units available stated on his website, I just asssumed that they were ready. This is when He raised his voice at me telling me I am completely unreasonable and that NO COMPUTER SHOP IN THE WORLD CAN YOU JUST WALK IN AND EXPECT TO WALK OUT WITH A COMPUTER! He got bright red in the face telling me that he appreciates my business but he will not be dealing with me today! You are right, I thimk this would have been the 3rd or 4th machine I got from them, and you will never be dealing with me again! You were extremely rude and abrupt and unproffessional. I will keep dealing with TECHRESTORED and AMPTEK and delete you from my list of suppliers.
