Absolutely excellent service Top carpets and flooring Newlands.
I managed to flood my bedroom when showering, due to a blocked pipe (I have a wet shower, no rim.) Top carpets and floors Newlands, were given by my insurance (Momentum). From start to finish, I can only say, EXCELLENT. They came and removed soaked carpet. ordered replacement. I was informed By Gerard of all processes. and appointments. Thank you to ****er, Kurt and ***nee. who did complete work from start to finish. Courteous, knowledgeable and extremely polite. They cleaned up all their offcuts and left my house perfect. I cannot express my level of appreciation for their fantastic service. WELL DONE. You guys rock. I have worked in customer service at corporate level, and have qualifications in this field. This team blew me away with their outstanding service and professionalism. I'm the first to complain of bad service, conversely, This service was the best I have had. Again WELL DONE to all concerned. You made my year, let alone my day.

Short term insurance not all it seems.
Had leg amputation after blood clot. Receive a post from Momentum saying they provide modification to vehicle to 50K. When applying told do not qualify as I WAS a diabetic type 2. In Jan 2014 I started Banting eating plan. After medical supervision by my doctor and HBIC testing, I have not needed any medication for diabetice, in any form to date. I stopped any form of alcohol for 13 years and gave up smoking 43 years ago. Thirty kgs weight loss. Told the amputation must have be caused by vehicle accident for them to pay. Well, I had an accident (fall on my motorcycle, a couple of months prior to amputation, which Momentum paid for repair of motorcycle. All logged with police dept. I damaged my arm and nerves in my hand from impact, with severe bruising. In summation, After lodging dispute with Ombudsman insurer says I must lodge a legal dispute. Cost wise this is not possible. After paying for prosthetic leg and getting automatic car, finances are not in the shape needed to pay for bike to be fixed so I can ride again, at this time. So, be careful of the promises of insurers. Just like power outages, beware the fine print. Like me, who sits with the depression due to limb loss and financial liabilities. I find that the cover I had, is no cover at all. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE.
