I recently took a trip to Afronation and Ibiza in the month of July 2025 with Blacktrotters. Firstly, the itinerary mentioned Paris multiple instead of the two cities that we were actually traveling to meaning the company didn't even bother to proofread the document before sending it out to the clients. Then on arrival, no agent was there to welcome any of the travellers. We were sent texts to look for a certain taxi driver by name - there was not even a board with the company name. As if that wasn't bad enough, there was no introductory drinks event on arrival so that all the travellers could meet one another and know the plans for the next few days. Also, the company did not bother to mention that all commuting to Afronation in Portimao from the hotel which was 30 minutes away was at the expense of the travellers. I think it would make sense to mention this is the proofread itinerary so that travellers could manage their finances before arriving in Portugal. Also, the group was then alerts that all the plans for Ibiza being Black Coffee party access and a yacht ride were cancelled due to suppliers letting the company down. And to make up for this, they offered us R1,500 from the R89,000 that we paid for the entire trip. Relating to the yacht ride that was offered in Lisboa in the package which was later changed to Algarve was a shared cheap boat hire for 2 hours. Honestly, I felt ****med on the entire trip and will never book another trip with BlackTrotters. I sadly have already paid up for a trip in October 2025 which Blacktrotters advised that I could not get a refund for – before even having taken the first trip to Portugal and Spain because I believed in them so much. I tried to reach out to the owner Refiloe Tsakatsa who promised to return my call but till to this day has not.
Course Confidence, to date has not contacted to make any payment arrangement. We paid 50% deposit for a course that never happened. After we posted a review about Course Confidence ****ming us Musa Mahlangu who's the event cordinator called and promised that they will pay us, that was 2 months ago. Course Confidence pay us our money.
Samsung A12 Hello Peter I bought a Samsung A12 last year in 2022 from Incredible Connections Nicolway. I hardly used the phone as it was meant to be a backup phone. After an estimated period of 5-6 months the phone started freezing, and I didn't get the time to book it in for repairs. Eventually I booked it in 3 months ago and it took forever for Incredible Connections Nicolway to give me feedback on the status of the cell phone device. I eventually received feedback in which I was told I had installed a generic screen on the phone which has now caused the damaged to the phone. I have to pay an amount of R1,656.51 despite the fact that the cell phone is still under warranty. I have never repaired the phone before and I wouldn't have taken it elsewhere knowing that it was still under warranty. I rejected the report and upon that rejection of the report I was advised that Samsung has ceased or cancelled my warranty. Further to that I received a call from a Technical Expert from Incredible Connections Nicolway informing me that I have to pay an amount of R250 for the assessment that SUS Repairs had done on my device. Failure to that I will not get my cellphone back.
A training company known as Course Confidence with registration no: 2021/735370/70 and work address based at 102 Birnam Court Melrose, Johannesburg is a ****. They have ****med us as a company an amount of R5,000 for a course called high emotional intelligence and leadership that was advertised. The course was due to take place last month April 2023. On the day of training, we were not contacted to be advised that it was cancelled. When we called to inquire, we spoke to Musa Mahlangu (Events Co-Ordinator) we were told that they have cancelled the training and had sent out emails to notify everyone - however our mailbox didn’t receive any email to this accord from them. We then proceeded to call 011 568 3487 and also sent an email to admin@courseconfidence.co.za requesting for a refund, which at first was agreed to happen at their next run – which was said to be month end of April 2023. Currently as I am typing this, their phone lines have now been disconnected and no response is received from their email addresses and of course no refund was received
