Perfect Dubai gateway..5* star service all the way
From the moment I stepped into OR Tambo International Airport, I knew this was going to be a trip to remember – and Blacktrotters Afrika did not disappoint. Their attention to detail and seamless coordination made the entire experience smooth, luxurious, and unforgettable. The journey began with personalized airport assistance, where the Blacktrotters team ensured swift check-in, comfortable waiting lounges, and all the travel documents in place. Their professionalism and care instantly set the tone for what was to come. Upon arrival in Dubai, we were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable local guide who escorted us to a stunning 5-star hotel in the heart of the city. The accommodation was nothing short of spectacular – from the elegant rooms with breathtaking skyline views to world-class service, spa access, and fine dining options, it was pure indulgence. Our four-night stay was packed with a perfectly balanced itinerary that combined adventure, culture, and relaxation. One of the highlights was the beach day at Jumeirah – turquoise waters, soft sands, private cabanas, and water sports like jet skiing and paddleboarding made it an ideal day to unwind. The itinerary curated by Blacktrotters Afrika truly showcased the best of Dubai. We explored the iconic Burj Khalifa, visited the Dubai Mall (with time for shopping, of course!), and even enjoyed a sunset desert safari that included dune bashing, camel rides, and a traditional Bedouin dinner under the stars. Other unforgettable experiences included a luxury yacht cruise along Dubai Marina, a cultural tour of Old Dubai with a visit to the Gold and Spice Souks, and a magical evening at the Dubai Fountain show. Each day brought new surprises, and every activity was thoughtfully planned and timed. What impressed me most was the personalized service throughout. Whether it was dietary preferences, transport arrangements, or special requests, the Blacktrotters team handled everything with grace and efficiency. This wasn’t just a holiday – it was a full bespoke experience that allowed me to enjoy Dubai in true luxury and comfort. Blacktrotters - **** Travel Company
I recently took a trip to Afronation and Ibiza in the month of July 2025 with Blacktrotters. Firstly, the itinerary mentioned Paris multiple instead of the two cities that we were actually traveling to meaning the company didn't even bother to proofread the document before sending it out to the clients. Then on arrival, no agent was there to welcome any of the travellers. We were sent texts to look for a certain taxi driver by name - there was not even a board with the company name. As if that wasn't bad enough, there was no introductory drinks event on arrival so that all the travellers could meet one another and know the plans for the next few days. Also, the company did not bother to mention that all commuting to Afronation in Portimao from the hotel which was 30 minutes away was at the expense of the travellers. I think it would make sense to mention this is the proofread itinerary so that travellers could manage their finances before arriving in Portugal. Also, the group was then alerts that all the plans for Ibiza being Black Coffee party access and a yacht ride were cancelled due to suppliers letting the company down. And to make up for this, they offered us R1,500 from the R89,000 that we paid for the entire trip. Relating to the yacht ride that was offered in Lisboa in the package which was later changed to Algarve was a shared cheap boat hire for 2 hours. Honestly, I felt ****med on the entire trip and will never book another trip with BlackTrotters. I sadly have already paid up for a trip in October 2025 which Blacktrotters advised that I could not get a refund for – before even having taken the first trip to Portugal and Spain because I believed in them so much. I tried to reach out to the owner Refiloe Tsakatsa who promised to return my call but till to this day has not.
