We’ve been loyal Luvland customers for YEARS. Thousands of rands spent on toys, lingerie, lubricants – you name it – because we actually enjoy keeping our *** life wild, consensual, and mind-blowing. We’re not window-shoppers; we’re the kind of clients who walk in knowing exactly what we want and drop serious cash without blinking. But today at your Durban North store, your male sales consultant treated us like common ********s and invisible women. The second we walked in, he zeroed in on my partner and demanded he remove his cap because of “increased shoplifting.” My partnerexplained it’s for medical reasons and impossible. Instead of accepting that like a professional adult, this genius told him to “wear it backwards then” – like some backyard bouncer profiling a teenager. In an ADULT store. The irony is thicker than the *****s on your shelves. Then, when I – the woman actively asking to see products and ready to spend – tried to get help, he flat-out ignored me. Turned his back, grabbed his phone, and called his manager to speak ONLY to my partner. Didn’t acknowledge me once. Didn’t look at me. Treated me like I don’t exist and can’t possibly make purchasing decisions in a *** shop. Blatant, stone-age ***ism on top of the initial disrespect. We left feeling degraded, angry, and frankly disgusted. This isn’t “security protocol” – this is power-tripping, discriminatory bull**** from staff who clearly have zero training in customer service, inclusivity, or basic decency. Adult stores are supposed to be safe, judgment-free zones where people explore pleasure without being shamed or profiled. Instead, your employee made us feel like suspects in a police lineup. Pathetic. Congratulations, Luvland – you just lost two high-spending, long-time customers forever. We’ll be taking our money (and our very vocal recommendations) to competitors who actually treat adults like adults. Train your staff. Do better. Or keep wondering why your reviews are tanking. Zero stars. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
I am here to warn others that if you move house, and you have not had your account with Vox for the full 12 months, you will be charged for the early cancellation cost. In my case, almost R3000. I have had the worst experience customer service wize, from sales person to his team manager, rude, indifferent, and just a whole lot of "I dont care "attitude. I did not cancel my fiber, they did! Oh, and their writing in their terms and conditions is the tiniest, sneakiest way of catching the small guy. Instead of trying to assist, or move the cost to my new address, the manager was all too happy losing me as a client. I will never recommend VOX to anyone, you have lost a client, and I will ensure that none of my friends or family ever fall trap to this.
For those who didnt know, if you are a tenant who hires a house, and plan to move, Vox Telecom has the tiniest small print that catches you if you try and move your subscription. They have an internal "Cancellation policy", meaning that your account has to be cancelled and another created for your new address. They hold you liable for the early cancellation, in my case, almost R3000. They dont care that you are not the one that has cancelled, or that you want to continue with the contract. They also do not offer to move this cost to your new address. In fact, they dont care at all. Their client service is absolutely shocking, I had the sales person talking over me, even when I tried to talk, rude emails etc froma Mr Rhetagan Danster, that goes by the name of Charlie. And when my matter was escalated to his manager, Miss Phumi Radebe, I received the same indifference from her. Vox, you dont care about your clients, your staff are rude and will not assist you if it's not in their favor, and you have lost a client. I did not cancel my contract, you did. Oh, and hiding it in your terms and conditions just shows me your sneakiness. I will never recommend your company to anyone ever again, but will be sure to tell all about how your clients are treated. Daleen Janse van Vuuren.
