I feel I was duped by Tempest. In their online booking system, I specified the collection branch and a different drop-off branch. The system generated the amount for the rental, that I accepted and my credit card was charged with the full rental amount quoted. On collection, I was requested for my credit card for the deposit. It was the amount that the online booking had advised. I then got the slip to sign, specifically where I had to initial the various added conditions. HOWEVER, on that same slip in small print, NOT requiring me to initial against it, there was an added sentence advising that a surcharge of R1604 would be charged for dropping it at another branch. I ONLY got wind of this when my deposit was not repaid in full, and on querying the small print on the collection slip was pointed out to me. I feel this is bordering *****, firstly in the amount charged and secondly in the manner that it was done, though they cover themselves legally. I feel this is *********, and I would wish to warm anyone that is considering using them to be very careful, especially on the small print. Undoubtedly, they would also have small print when it came to their waiver clauses etc. I will certainly be avoiding renting a car there again.
Cold call received. Not cool. DFC is not 100% honest in the messaging. There is a lack of integrity. I won’t be putting my trust in DFC for health and life issues.
Wow!! We were dealing with a hosting provider in Canada that was giving us the run around. We turned to Xneelo for assistance, and it was resolved in minutes. We are so impressed. Thank you!! Our experiences are consistently good with their service levels.
