On December the 7th (2024) I placed an order on what appears to be the Venum South Africa website: www.venumsouthafrica.co.za . It goes straight to a website called www.venumza.com Everything looks legitimate, like a typical ecommerce website with a trustworthy paygate. The website states a 3 to 15 day delivery time. Feedback has been terrible. I got an email from an "Isabella" (Isabella@vipeuservices.com) on the day of the order confirming payment receipt and again on the 11th of December with the tracking information. It turns out that the order is being shipped from China, and the tracking information is few and far between. There is no office number that I can call. I recontacted "Isabella" on December the 18th this was the response, 3 days later: "OK,please hold on, we are confirming the details with our courier, thank you." It is Christmas day, the very expensive parcel (which was ordered 18 days ago and meant as a Christmas gift for someone) has not arrived, and the latest tracking information just says "moved to next station". If this is not a ****, it is then the worst customer service experience I have witnessed and I have sent a formal inquiry to the main American page questioning the legitimacy and existence of its South African branch. Has anyone else had any experiences with Venum South Africa? Is this an illegitimate poser falsely representing the actual company?
I placed a large order from Roman's Pizza via Mr D on 11/05/2023 at 12:01. (Order number DFD154881991). The order was for an International Nurses Day appreciation event taking place during their lunch break in a ward that I admit my patients to. The restaurant is a 5min drive from the hospital. When I realised that I was not getting order updates, I tried to call Mr D and nobody answered the line after 10mins of waiting. The in-app complaints portal was not helpful. I called Roman's Pizza myself and I was told that the food had been ready for over 70mins already and there was no sign of Mr D to collect and deliver the order. They then had to phone Mr D to force them to send a driver. The order was eventually collected 90mins after the order was placed. The food arrived well over an hour after the the nursing break ended and it was cold. Once again I stopped the work that I was doing to call Mr D's helpline to get help and once again, nobody answered the line after over 15mins of waiting. It would have been far cheaper, quicker and less stressful for me to have just stepped away from my patients for a few minutes to place and collect the order from Roman's Pizza myself. The purpose of a delivery service is to provide the customer with the convenience of saved time and travel costs. You have infact done the opposite - you have wasted allot of time and cost me more than what the food and your service is worth. You have ruined a good day for good, hard working and unassuming people who deserve recognition on this one day of the year and you have caused me a great deal of embarrassment. This poor level of service and the lack of active customer support is completely pathetic. This is not acceptable and I demand that you actively respond and correct the consequences of your failure to honour your end of the deal in a satisfactory manner.
