Dales Bros behaves likes ****mers! They don't communicate their processes upfront! They ask for a so "refundable deposit" and emphasize that it should be immediate But, when they have to refund you they don't even say how long it will take for them to refund the money! After 2 days of enquiring for a refund their Accountant Leslie tells me it will be done after 3 days making 5 days!
It appears that Dstv is trapping/****ming us to upgrade under false pretense that you are going to extra benefits at no extra cost. They are sending pop up info on our tv screens, requesting customers to text "UPGRADE " to upgrade to Compact package and they will give you the Premium channels at no extra cost. Great, I sent that Text multiple times with no response whatsoever to say whether this is for selected customers or there's a certain qualifying criteria. After 2 days I called Dstv they are telling me they do have a promo but they don't know the qualifying criteria and they basically cannot assist any further. Hence, I'm saying people could be trapped or ****med into UPGRADING thinking that texting has qualified them. I had to make a 20 minute call to Dstv just to be told the offer is for a select few whose qualifying criteria is unknown!
Recently Cartrack uses old "registered debit order authorization" to GRAB money off people's account! As soon as you receive some money their *****ulent debit orders hit the account and they grab your money. That's apparently their dirty collection tactics on accounts under dispute!
I have had the worst experience with Cartrack when I had to sell my car and buy another one they would charge me about a R1000 for the device transfer. Finally, when I sold my car and have no car to transfer the device to they retrieve their device plus they make it a point to punish me for that cancelation by charging me a cancelation fee of R2650! I would never recommend Cartrack to anyone rather warn people to steer clear of Cartrack. Mind the above terms are never explained at the beginning of the contract!
Dstv (Multichoice) has continuously billed some insurance waiver premiums on my account that I have never taken up or agreed to! To make it worst, when I asked to cancel they simply do so going and never return or back date the premiums they *****ulently billed onto my account for the past 8 months. They simply claimed knowing my next of kin and for that reason claim I must have spoken to them regarding the insurance! No proof whatsoever that I have taken the insurance!
