I went to ABSA in the Promenade, Mitchells Plain on Wednesday, 25th February. Background: - we're all aware by now that e-dreams is your worse nightmare. They issue **** tickets are charging you, and then against your wishes make you a prime subscriber, deducting ZAR 229 per month, even if you cancel your debit order. I was humiliated on the 2nd January, 2026 st OR Tambo, when my ticket was classified as ****. I obviously had to buy a new ticket to get to CPT International. I've responded to every advert on TikTok, telling all and sundry to avoid e-dreams like poison. My ABSA visit. Astrolita was the lady who dealt with my request to change or keep my bank account, cancel my debit order. She was absolute perfection, called whoever in my prresence, issued me with a new card, spoke to me with absolute empathy. She is tremendously knowledgeable, and I easily rate her as the best consultant that I've encountered at ABSA. She is so exceptional and she gets a full 10 /10. She exceeded all my expectations, she's perfection personified. Astrolita, from the bottom of my heart, I thsnk you. May God bless you in abundance.
I booked a flight on Tuesday evening for today 14h00 - 16h10. I arrived extremely early, before 12 o'clock and went to check in. I was shocked to discover that despite my documentary proof, the booking could not be verified. The booking reference number was 24389212377. I then went to custoner service, yet no luck. Remember, I battled for 45 mins. to make sense, yet no positive outcome. Out of necessity, I purchased a ticket from FlySafair for R1 869, and I'm pensioner. It was like I found myself in a ****mer Payback episode on YouTube. The 2nd of January 2026 (today) was like a brutal financial massacre for me. Despite all my assertions, I must admit I book the ticket through eDreams. So, with my finite wisdom and obstinate stupidity, I actually don't know who's the culprit. I've long time ago, realized seeing is believing. EDreams you're an absolute disappointment and should be hauled in front of a commision of enquiry. I will retain the booking "invoice", sending it to all my "travelling friends" advising them in my book eDreams does not cut the mustard. .
I was there on the 24th December. We were 3 patrons, who ordered a Shangos platter for a meagre R170. The russian, chips, spare ribs, with some fresh chillies were out of this world. Noxolo and Nomcebo are such radiant ladies which made the occasion absolutely pleasurable.
I was there with 6 other individuals, from the 24th to the 28th December 2025. It's close to Eikenhof on the road to Vereeniging. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, it's clean and hygienic. The employees are available asap when something is queried or needed. With swimming pools, loads of trees, lots of space, natural views, it is fantastic. It's an establishment with massive potential. Maybe ask Galileo to stage a movie night there, sports nights, a bar, entertainment evenings, school visots, etc. We loved our time there - it's an awesome establishment, which needs some marketing. .
I went to pay my account at the store, a settlement amount, and attempting to eliminate all the add-ons [TFG ***** alert, MTN sim, etc.]. I received customer service par excellence from Washiefa. Her patience, skills and personal touch were absolutely brilliant. Her smile and delightful persona made it an experience of the highest quality. Her passion for people is obvious, and I left the store with a smile as wide as the river Nile. I left a negative review about Perfect Deals earlier. Now, I'm glad to report that my refund was succesfully processed. I express my gratitude to Jordache.
I purchased 11 5l Dishwadhing liquid [ZAR 471,62] more than a month ago. Proof of payment was requested on the Monday on order PD43377, which I duly sent.. I was informed within a week or so, that somehow a mistake was made and that actually don't have inventory available. When I asked for a refund, I was told that the acvoubtants [❓] are out of the country, therefore my request is in the queue. 2 Fridays ago, I received a call from Jordache, that by some miracle, he was informed a new consignment arrived, so now they can execute my order. Low and behold, a few days after that I was informed the shipment was damaged in transit. For the past two weeks I have requested my refind, but it's going nowhere slowly. WhatsApp messages are ignored. I know I stay in South Africa, where service delivery is rated as exceptional if things are delivered, but this is gross. I'm absolutely, completely, totally and utterly ridiculously shocked by this treatment. How long does an EFT take❓By the way I'm an Accounting Tutor up to 3rd year university level.
I look at the "calculator" on their website, and I really found the reviews absolutely mind-blowing amidst the interest on a loan. Their illustration for a loan with 6 month repayment period. : Loan amount: R1 000 Repayments : R300,53 × 6 = R1 803,19 So, finance charges = R803, 19 which means 80,319%, and this over six [6] months. Absolutely incredible - Capfin is a micro moneylender of epic proportions. As an academic tutor of Financial Management and Statistics, I almost fainted. I'm still shocked. What I perceived to be an intricate array of documentary proof, turned into a seamless operation, that was absolute simplicity. She was concise with her explanations, assisted me expertly through the whole process, even with my e-mail attachments. Her service was out of this world, so thanks, lady, as you stand out like a beacon. I frown when it comes to customer service in this country, but wow, yesterday was magical.
