In summary our experience is nothing short of absolutely disastrous!! Quote was given without a site visit, which when queried we were assured that was not an issue, boy did it become an issue. Not a single part of the installation was done as per discussions, quote nor specs! Having to deal with unreliability, denials & dishonesty in the extreme! The entire system installed is not up to spec & is dangerously installed. Owner tried to ****** additional monies from us,& refuses to give a compliance certificate which is a must on his own equipment and installation. Have had 5 different electricians/contractors/solar installers, in to have a look at bringing the installation up to spec, making it compliant and safe, all say the same thing. This is an example of one reply: " I have spoken to 3 other contractors and none of them are willing to work on that system. All recommend a new installation. With reliable brands
Service is absolutely abysmal. This is my 3rd report on HelloPeter I have literally sent 23 e mails to VODACOM and have not had a single reply except automated receipts Have called VODACOM and spoken to 8 people, 1 sent me an e mail saying he would help me and as yet nothing!!!! They still want me to pay my account but have de*****ed me clearly on a batch of upgrades and have charged me for what I did not agree to and dont want. My request to them is please sort out my statement & account so that I can pay you, but alas nothing. It is like dealing with a brick wall. Their is absolutely no care nor consideration for the customer(25 years with VODACOM--Top package) & clear and absolute unwillingness to help assisted by a gigantic dose of both obtuseness & stubbornness
This is just a copy of an e mail sent to Vodacom's customer@vodacom.co.za Believe it or not I have not had a single approach from them since sending this except an automated mail received reply: I note that no one has had the decency nor courtesy to call YOU ARE TO CANCEL THE ENTIRE UPGRADE DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (4 contracts) I want a senior manager to call me with the recorded conversation. This entire transaction from Vodacoms side is *****ulent The quote was for R1899 pm including VAT( get the recording please!!) This was repeated numerous times by your agent This UPGRADE went together with 3 other UPGRADES which were also *****ulently transacted. I expect a call from a senior manager You continue with this ***** therefore acknowledging that you are happy with the conduct of “FIONA” in sendind smss and trying to deliver the product but not resolving the issue in any way, in fact electronically acknowledging receipts of my letters but doing precisely nothing about the problem not even communicating I want it in writing that all these *****ELENT UPGRADES have been cancelled & that any charges raised will be credited and no charges will be made on my account PLEASE NOTE I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REPORT THIS *****ELENT ACTION BY VODACOM TO THE SAPS I will be putting my unhappiness today on HELLO PETER
