Since I logged a claim for the dent on my car. I have not been contacted by ABSA. I have to call to find out how far are they with my claim. The assessor appointed don not communicate with me on anything. When I logged the claim I will told to WhatsApp or email him the photo (dirk de witte) he didn't acknowledge that he received the photos (emailed and WhatsApp) i had to call only after that call he called me and indicated he needs an additional photo. After he completed his report still. No communication i had to call to get that information. Also the quotation was above the cover value and that was not communicated i had to call. And still now that the authorisation has been done to pay out so I can take the car in for repairs nothing is being communicated. I called the pannelbaleater and they indicated that only the quotation was asked but no further communication from the assessor or the bank.
This guy is very unprofessional. He is working with working with guesthouses in the area and makes you stay their for days at exorbitant prices. He let's you car stand at the mechanic for days. He does not call you to tell you what is wrong with the car is causes delays in the repairing your car. When you start asking questions he starts to get rude and arrogant. His also working with the spare parts shops that will inflate their prices and he waits till the shops are closed so that you must pay a call out fee. He does not provide you with a invoice. Don't use him at all.

I have submitted my claim on Monday 27 November 23. It's 03 December 23 and daildirect has not even made any attempt to contact me regarding my claim. I had to call 3 time and still no efforts has been made to process my claim. Amado Mefula who is the advisor has not responded to the message I sent on the app and on 01 Dec when I called he was not even answering the company phone. This company really do not care if you are a client they wouldn't even get someone to assist. I will not adivice anyone to do business with them. Rather go with santam
