My wife and I went to Umhlanga from Johannesburg on 9 April 2023. At the collection carousel in Durban i could get my wifes suitcase but my suitcase was not there. The official airport walked up to me to told1 me that it is my suit case wrapped in thick plastic with aviation sticker on it. I started taking the plastic wrapping off the suitcase to find that the zip of myp suitcase had been torn open and zip the mechanisms was no where to be found. The official then told me the suicse was broken in johannesburg airport. I started to commumicate via watsapp with your staff. They askwd for pictures which I sent. They said they would take it up with ther suprvisor and give me feedback. I got a call indicating that i can borough a case from lift in Johannesburg and the would see if my case could be fixed . I asked if they would haveu suitcase delivered at my house. Tjey indicated no. I told your staff I live on the northern side of Pretoria, and that it is definately not fair of your staff to expect of me to drive to the airport and back to Pretoria. A gent from your office phoned me with an offer of R200 to close the case. I am very disappointed with the service I received. We travwllwd on Luft Airways to Durban from Johannesburg on 9 April 2024. When we had to collect our suitcases (my wife and I) my suitcase was not on the carosal. An airport officer came to me to indicate that my suicase have been damaged and it was placed in a large plastic bag. I sent Lift support picture of the large zip that was forced open and broken. They asked for additional pics that i sent. I was then told to take my bag to Lift at the Johannedburg Airport, they would give me a bag to put my belogings into. They then said i have to come back to the airport in Johannesburg to collect my suitcase when fixed. I told them that i live on the nothern side of Pretoria and will not make a return trip on my cost to collect the fuxed suicase. Everthing then got quiet. I got a call on 29 July where it was indicated that they understand that i will not make a trip to the. Johannesburg airport to drop my bag and then have to go fetch it when it is fixed. The officer then indicated that a senior person from Lift would call me with 48 hours to give me their proposed outcome/plan to address my problem. I am a very unhappy customer.
I received regular feedback on my purchase. Great service. Will use their services again
I ordered a 1.2 kva 2.56 kwh litium compact power station from Leroy Merlin via their website on 24 May 2024. They how ever delivered a FIREBLOCK LITHIUM Battery Fire Extinguisher – 2 Litres. I phoned their customer service centre to inform them that the wrong product was delivered. The agent informed me that the mistake is on their side as the 2 items have the same SKU. They said that they would refund me, however I asked why I cannot get the ordered product. No feedback. When I phone them the say my case is with the supervisor. Viaan Snyman: Good Day my suitcase was extremely damaged when I received in King Shaka airport in Durban. Check in was done in Johannesburg. Both primary zips and my lock was missing. My suitcase was in a plastic bag and wrapped with menzies tape. I informed the lady (formal officer) at the carousel of the problem. She she indicated that she knew about the problem and received pictures showing the busted suitcase. I sent pictures and a description of the problem to the Lift Whattsapp group (lLift representative asked for pictures). This occurred on 9 April 2024 and I sent the escaltion with pictures on the same day. I have received no feedback from lift. Flight no GE203. Very poor service.
Order a phone on 21 April 2023. I have not received the phone. I mailed an contacted the SA post Office customs at least 10 times to enquire about the phone They now indicates that the phone is lost. It was however received by the post office customs on 23 May 2023. Please assist. I do not know what to do next.
