This is a ****. I have just been ****med. They take payment, arrange delivery, communicate via whatsapp until delivery is scheduled and then noe delivery and no further communication. Gives out the so-called driver's number which is for a lady that know's nothing about them. Beware.
My son, Meerten van Wyk, booked his flight journey through Emirates via their online portal flying from Durban to Olbia in Sardinia via Dubai arriving lunchtime on Saturday 22 July. His bag went missing somewhere between Jhb and Olbia. It was properly reported at the airport. Emirates customer services simply referred us to Fly Dubai who was the last operator. We registered it on FlyDubai's website. The bag is now only scheduled to reach Olbia tomorrow and then has to be scheduled to be delivered. This is ridiculous to wait more than 3 days for your bag! When contacting FlyDubai to try to expedite neither the customer service or baggage departments was willing to assist saying that we needed to contact Olbia airport who was arranging the logistics with them. The baggage department's number at Olbia airport only has options in Italian we do not understand which is why we approached Emirates in the first place. Approached Emirates again for help which was again refused with a divert to FlyDubai. What shocking customer service! We booked through Emirates. Surely they can try to assist.

His bag was lost after check-in in Jhb by either Emirates or FlyDubai. It was properly reported at Olbia airport and on FlyDubai airline's website. Emirates refused to get involved stating that although the complete itinerary was booked through them it was FlyDubai's problem as they were the last in the queue. Tracking the process through FlyDubai's website they are stating that the bag will fly from Dubai to Olbia only tomorrow the 25th and only thereafter will arrangements begin to get it delivered. I think it is shocking to leave a young man with nothing for at least 3 days. This bag should have been delivered to him at the very least the next day. FlyDubai's customer service simply put there hands up and direct you to the baggage department. The baggage department refuse to assist in expediting the bag as it is Olbia airport's responsibility according to them. I tried to call the number from Olbia airport at the start already but the options is only in Italian. This is shocking customer services by both FlyDubai and Emirates.
