I can honestly say that choosing Cartrack was a huge mistake that I'm now stuck with for 36 months. When i entered into this contract i was told that it was a 36 month contract, but that i have the option of transferring ownership, or transferring the dashcam into a new car if i sold the old one and bought a new one. What i wasn't told is that i can only do that if the new owner buys the same car with the same dash cam. It cannot be transferred to a new owner and a new car, which is what i thought, and what made more sense. Now I'm stuck with a dashcam I'm not using but still paying for even though it's been removed. Also, I wasn't told that i was going to be charged in arrears for the first month, which i thought i was charged for when the first payment came off my account. Apparently, that was only for installation, which i also didn't know. I was told that i would be able to download footage on request, which I've done several times and cartrack cannot download this footage for some reason. Now I'm being told that I should request footage within a 72hr period or i will face these issues, which i was not told either. Now I'm sat with a huge bill for installations and arrears, one bill for a dashcam that I'm not using and cannot transfer ownership or sell AND with no footage, which is why i chose these dashcams in the first place. Cancelling is not an option because i'd have to pay all the premiums for the entire 36 month period upfront, which i was told, but i accepted under the impression that transfer of ownership is possible for one person AND one car to another. And the service is **********. You will wait on the phone for 30 minutes and be transferred to at least 3 to 4 people before you get to speak to the right person. And when your phone cuts off, forget about getting a call back. This is an absolute rip-off, and I will never do this again. I'm better off without this dashcam if I can't even get the footage I requested. This is very disappointing to say the least. I feel **********, and I cannot recommend Cartract to anyone.
I sent 2 very important court documents by registered post to 2 different individuals on 27 October 2025. On 30 October, the tracking for 1 document shows "not found" and the other is showing "first notification sent to recipient" to collect, when this document should have been delivered to the address on the envelope. How on earth did it end up at Gatesville? I've tried calling the number on the receipt to clarify what's going on, but I'm being asked for an absa account number for verification which i don't have and makes no sense! There is no other option to reach an agent by the way so where do I go from here? These are important court documents which should be sent by registered post, since it is the "safest" way, but clearly that isn't happening, so what do i do now?
I've had frequent problems with the tracking device, and once again the tracking isn't accurate. Once again I called Netstar, struggled to hear the ****led conversation by the agent (as usual), just to be transferred 4 times and holding till I couldn't hold anymore. The problem still exists. There is also no other way to contact Netstar other than by phone. The only reason they got a 2 is because if and when the device actually works it works well. Other than that, I won't recommend this company. The service is terrible
I have been trying to withdraw my money from Etoro for a month now. I have moved countries and cannot update my bank details from my side, it keeps declining and my bank can't explain why. I have sent my new ban details to Etoro twice to be updated and still nothing has been done. When I contact support I keep getting transferred from agent to agent without any success. How do i get my money out of Etoro and close my account? No one can seem to answer me.
I always get the best service from outsurance. The agents are very knowledgeable and quickly understand my needs. There's never any struggle to accomplish anything and they even check up on you when you've asked for assistance. I just wish outsurance had Ehailing insurance, then I could use Outsurance for all my insurance needs.
Why is it so difficult to get to speak to a customer service agent at Old Mutual? Even my emails take about 2 weeks to get answered if im lucky! It's been a couple of weeks since I've been trying to contact Old Mutual, and since I didn't receive a reply email I tried calling. Everytime it's at least a 20 min wait on the phone, followed by someone who cant hear you even though you can hear them clearly. This is a real turnoff fir customers. What if I needed urgent assistance? Since this is a recurring issue, I have decided to cash out at Old Mutual and try to find a more reliable company to invest with, if I can finally get hold of someone at Old Mutual!
In November 2024 I bought a car from We buy cars Brackenfell with an excellent rating and report to match. I was told service records are up to date, the car is in excellent condition and all I'll have to do is update the number plate and registration. Only to find out a month later that a spark plug needs replacing, next month brake pads need replacing, next month spark plug leads need replacing, next month oil starts leaking and finally the car just gave out while I was driving. So much for excellent condition and up to date service records and report to match. Not to mention overpricing! I can safely say that I will never recommend anyone to even think about webuycars as, chances are, you'll end up with a piece of trash with a great report from webuycars. I've wasted time and hard earned money, and I will never do it again. It's a definite NO for webuycars.
I tried not to write this review, but after what happened today, i have no choice. I used Easylife Kitchens Brackenfell services to fix a botched job that a previous contractor did on my property, thinking that i was using a professional company to fix a big problem. I consulted with the project manager 8 months before work was to commence so that everything would be in order when we began because my time was very limited. The work was supposed to take 2 weeks, it ended up taking almost 4. The project manager had since left the company, but was still in charge of my project. However he and their contractor were gone most of the time working on a different project and just left their workers there alone with me, while things went terribly wrong and low quality work was done. Every time i asked "who is managing this project", the project manager would say, "discuss it with them" (ie Easylife kitchens). When i discussed it with EasyLife, they said he was in charge. Until the end i still had no idea who managed this project. The faucet and hardware i asked for 8 months ago, still hadn't been bought in the middle of the project, so i had to buy it myself, even though i was already quoted for hardware. Kitchen measurements were incorrect and some cabinets and the countertop had to be redone. The box doors i asked for ended up being some cheap pieces of plywood looking material that looked awful and i asked them to remove it (Thanks to Dion, the manager for refunding me for that). I had to improvise and have them drill into my expensive shaker room doors to put it on the old sliding frame which looks awful and really doesn't work. The walls are skew and cracking. The plumbers had to come 4 times to fix a leak that should have been fixed the first time, and then charged me for the last time, even though i already paid for all plumbing and electrical. Easylife contractors refused to pay and i was forced to pay for the so-called 'extra work'. This work was done about 2 months ago. And today something electrical blew in my new kitchen, fiery embers almost blew into my face and all over my table and floor. This could have caused a bad injury, or even worse, it could have caused a fire. These are only a few of the issues i faced with Easylife Kitchens. I have had enough now, and no longer want anything to do with Easylife kitchens. I will attempt to get an electrician to rewire all the electrical work in my property, as i am now terrified of anything else blowing and causing an injury to me or my family, or even a fire in my property. And i must add that this job was not cheap. The only positive was that Dion, the manager, was very apologetic and helpful to try and solve these problems. Unfortunately he may need to get a more competent team. So thanks to Dion for his help, but i do not want anyone else to experience the hell I've been through, and it's still not over. I can only hope that no other issues arise in the future. Please do not choose this company if you want quality, professionalism and no future issues.
On 5th March I placed an online order on the Woolworths website (Cape Town). I called Woolworths to schedule a delivery date and estimated time, as I knew I would not be home most of the time. Next thing I knew, the order shows "delivered" on 19th March, of course not on the date and time that I scheduled, but the order was not delivered. I called Woolworths customer service to find out what was happening. They told me that they are aware that this order was not delivered, but marked as delivered by the driver. They told me that as soon as the merchandise reaches the warehouse I will be refunded. It's now April 18th and I'm still waiting for my refund or any communication from Woolworths. I have emailed so many times and have never received a response. I never expected such bad service from Woolworths, as I enjoyed the (previous) good service and good quality of products. But this is causing me to be a lot more apprehensive to buy from Woolworths online. It's just way too difficult to arrange changes in online orders or to get a refund. But my question is.....why am I still waiting for the refund of an order that was supposed to be delivered a month ago? And why am I not getting a response from Woolworths? What is actually going on with this order?
Product: 32"-55" Full Motion Cantilever TV Wall Mount Bracket I've been tracking the price of this item for days to take advantage of Black Friday sales. From 17 to 19 November this item was priced at R278. On 20 November I see that it's on sale at 34% off, only to notice that the they've listed the original price at R599 and the "sale" price at R390!!! So I'd actually be paying MORE for an item that's supposed to be ON SALE! I noticed this with several SA merchants. How can this be allowed?
