Absolutely lovely venue, from the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly and helpful staff. My fiancé and myself took my family to Tigers milk Umhlanga straight after we got engaged and the staff made the celebration very memorable. Food was amazing. It's has an amazing atmosphere. Will definitely be back
On first view of the venue it looked stunning. My fiancé and I went in to make a reservation for 6 people to celebrate getting engaged and we were helped very quickly. We were also informed that because we were Staying at the Sands Resort the food was half price. On arrival to our reserved table lated that evening we found only 5 chairs and not the 6 we reserved. It then took +30 min just for someone to give us a menu. And another +20 min before they took our drinks order. The drinks took over 10 min to come to the table. When our food order was taken we asked if they had salmon for the sushi, and we were informed that they did have salmon. We placed our orders (All 6 of us ordering sushi platters) We then waited half an hour for our food to be served. Just before our food was served the waiter came to us telling us that they didn't have enough salmon for 2 of the platters that were ordered and they will have to replace the salmon with Tuna. 4 of the 6 platters were then served, and we waited for 10 min before starting to eat. Only once we were done eating were the other 2 platters then served. Once our other 2 guests were done eating we requested the bill. After such a terrible experience, the waitress waited outside of the restrooms for my fiancé so she could pay, and then told my fiancé she only accepts cash tips. My fiancé paid and we left just wanting to go back to our hotel. Once we got back to the hotel we noticed that we were charged full price and not the half price that was told to us. I contacted to restaurant to enquiry about why we were charged extra and the restaurant apologiesed and stated that they would pay us a refund, I immigrant gave bank details for the refund to be paid. It then took 3 weeks of constant back and forth before the refund was paid. Overall would not recommend and will not be back.
I bought a hisense smart watch u1 from the Vodabucks store on my vodacom app. It used Vodabucks and cash to complete payment. I paid the full amount of cash and Vodabucks, the money and Vodabucks was deducted from my accounts. A few days later after receiving no communication with regards to my purchase I phoned the vodacom customer care line and the run around began. I was transferred from department to department just to eventually get told that the order has been canceled. When I asked who canceled the order and why was the order canceled I was told that no one knows and that i must try redo the order. I explained that I can't re order as I haven't been refunded my mony nor my Vodabucks and I was then told there's nothing they can do to fix the order and send me the watch that I have bought. The support and service received by vodacom is incredible shocking and unprofessional. What happened to always helping the customer? This is honestly beyond pathetic. And all I want is the product which I have paid for.
