On first view of the venue it looked stunning. My fiancé and I went in to make a reservation for 6 people to celebrate getting engaged and we were helped very quickly. We were also informed that because we were Staying at the Sands Resort the food was half price. On arrival to our reserved table lated that evening we found only 5 chairs and not the 6 we reserved. It then took +30 min just for someone to give us a menu. And another +20 min before they took our drinks order. The drinks took over 10 min to come to the table. When our food order was taken we asked if they had salmon for the sushi, and we were informed that they did have salmon. We placed our orders (All 6 of us ordering sushi platters) We then waited half an hour for our food to be served. Just before our food was served the waiter came to us telling us that they didn't have enough salmon for 2 of the platters that were ordered and they will have to replace the salmon with Tuna. 4 of the 6 platters were then served, and we waited for 10 min before starting to eat. Only once we were done eating were the other 2 platters then served. Once our other 2 guests were done eating we requested the bill. After such a terrible experience, the waitress waited outside of the restrooms for my fiancé so she could pay, and then told my fiancé she only accepts cash tips. My fiancé paid and we left just wanting to go back to our hotel. Once we got back to the hotel we noticed that we were charged full price and not the half price that was told to us. I contacted to restaurant to enquiry about why we were charged extra and the restaurant apologiesed and stated that they would pay us a refund, I immigrant gave bank details for the refund to be paid. It then took 3 weeks of constant back and forth before the refund was paid. Overall would not recommend and will not be back.

Not impressed with service or food at Bellezar Cabana Beach hotel . They had no Asian meals. They brought my meal first with a long wait for my partner's. We went especially for the Crem Brule which they did not have. Not worth R500.

We were on holiday in Umhlanga and my wife book Bellezar for us and our 2 kids to spend New Years eve at. Worst experience ever, we arrived, and they didn't have a table for us. The 2 Indian gents and 1 lady had no idea as to what they were doing. Ran out of the advertised complimentary Champayne, each person was meant to get 6 pieces of sushi which we didn't , the meals were horrible, they packed the place to capacity as a result we left at 21:00. when we requested the bill, they tried to further rob us by charges as an entrance charge. A poor run establishment with very poor customer car skills. They need to refund patrons who spent alot of money for a very poor experience.

FIGO THE WAITER TRIED TO **** US BY ADDING EXTRA DRINKS TO OUR BILL AND WHEN WE QUERIED IT THEY CAME UP WITH EXCUSES. WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT THERE AGAIN. THEY ARE ******* AT BELLEZAR UMHLANGA

Absolutely Disgusting and Pathetic service delivery. Pizza was horrible disgusting not appealing at all. Didn’t eat it!! FELT SICK ! T&Cs on menu whereby if you share you pay an amount. Complained to management and filled a form yet got no response nor an apology, dishes were dirty, tip included in bill despite Pathetic service delivery. Tabasco sauce diluted like water and waiters had no disregard to jumping feet over a step making the entire table check when walking about.

My coffee was cold.then I ordered a drink,they didn't have sprite zero ,so it was Made with soda water.it tasted disgusting, I only took 1 sip ,but had to pay for it.the waiter said there is nothing they could do.
