In February I called Samsung call centre to report that my TV screen went blank while tv was playing and all can hear is the sound. The person on phone tried to assist us to get picture back but she could not and she logged a call with service provider. Samsung referred my to Pretoria TV and Aplliaces I had to pay call out fee. Service Provider called to come fix tv I advised them of the loadshedding schedule. They insisted to come during loadshedding and they said they will check tv at their workshop. The collected tv around 14 February 2023..o kept calling to check on my tv and they said they are still assessing it. only on 2 March 2023 after yet another follow up they then sent a quotation stating one connect box needed to be repaired charging me R4255. I visited Samsung in Garsfontein to get a quotation for this part and it was cheaper than what they charged me..I told them they insisted their price included other things I raised the money and eventually paid them 17 April 2023 and sent them proof of payment. I kept calling abd no feedback. on 26 April I called again no response and I sent them whatsapp. Then they responded "Good day. The pcb was replaces tv switch on but it was find that the screen is cracked" I asked for investigation and reported matter to Samsung..I was asked to send pictures of the last time tv was on- who takes pictures of their tv daily..I did and I was then told by Samsung that they pictures are few days old and can't be re**** on. To date my lawyers have written to the Samsung referred Service providers, no response and my tv is still with them and no answers as to what broke my screen. Samsung has not been helpful and was told that I broke my own tv I checked the reviews of the Samsung referred service provider and found BAD reviews against these guys. Why did Samsung refer to to such a service provider and what protection do I have for the tv that they broke. The last time I spoke to someone at Samsung..I asked how was the investigation done and they did not want to tell except to say they followed Sansung processes. i was not called I was not asked anything except the TV pictures I sent I am not happy with the after sale service of Samsung and the fact that my TV is broken and I have not been given explain about what happened to it.
Horrible...sent my TV 14 February when screen went blank. they quoted me for new tv box I paid, kept calling and following up. Eventually they say they have found out my screen is cracked....the screen was never cracked when they picked tv now they won't even answer calls
