I have ordered and paid for order #836516 on 28 September 2024 with delivery within 5 days. After numerous WhatsApp interactions and emails, I threatened ***** charges. Miraculously, an invoice was sent on 4 October 2024 which also indicated that the order was only generated on that day. I monitored progress of my order on their website, which indicated 'order in process'. This state of affairs has not improved despite emails and WhatsApp messages asking for delivery dates. I have had one reply yesterday to tell me the order is 'in process' and that their turnaround time is 10 (working) days - only days mentioned 'days' on website. 10 working days expires on 11 October 2024 with no sign of delivery. Needless to say my frustration levels are off the chart and my trust in the integrity of this pityfull organization is non-existent - as is their customer service.
If you hear the name Simba or Matthew from Clearline Appliances beware you are in for a rough ride. In short, we had a problem with our Siemens Microwave and after finding a very credible website of Clearline Appliances I phoned and spoke to Simba, who assured me that they were accredited-Siemens agents. They came the same afternoon and told me that the motherboard needs to be replaced. I had to pay a deposit for them to purchase a new motherboard. Long story short, the experience was a nightmare with phone calls not being answered, messages ignored, and WhatsApp (their preferred mode of communication) often ignored. We went through an incredibly stressful period with half and vague messages and at times no communication for days. Their website is also **** as one of the telephone numbers doesn't exist and the physical address does not correspond with that on their invoice, which in turn cannot be found on Google Maps. The so-called manager, Ockert Gouws, was nowhere to be found and I suspect does not exist. Only when we threatened to lay theft charges with the police, did they eventually deliver the microwave via Uber (funny that they did not bring it themselves). Needless to say, still not working. Clearline Appliances are chancers without any integrity, Simba, and Matthew are as unreliable and plain dishonest as you can get.
