I am currently a tenant at Platinum Place located at New Doornfontein Johannesburg Gauteng. We as tenants have noticed the tendency of one of the female Security Guards placing her ear on our doors during the day or night to determine weather we making noise or not. This is very offensive because it is clearly an invasion of our privacy. She further decides to turn of our electricity during the day and yet our lease agreements state that we can listen to music until 10pm at night. When confronted she because disrespectful and informs that she has the power to that if she wants to. This kind of behavior from the companies employees puts the company into disrepute and I hope the company will address this issues with their employee.
Afcho Property Management does not care about their clients, they can *******ly evict you without following proper eviction procedures. One of their clients renting from one of their buildings (Platinum Place) who had paid rent for September 2024 had a disagreement with their building manager and the manager without considering what the law (PIE Act) states about eviction toke it upon himself to abuse his position as a building manager and an employee of Afcho Property Management with the office management support to disconnect water and lights, changing the door locks(lockout), deleting their clients finger print used to access the building and instructed the security to refuse him access even as a visitor so that he can not access the building. Their client is employed, he has now been forced to take unpaid leave, sleep on the street, with no clothes to change or anything a basic human needs to go on with their lives on daily basis. They have not refunded him his rental for the month of September 2024 or his deposit instead have taken measures to prevent him from accessing the building or his valuables and properties. He has now referred the matter to the Rental Housing Tribunal with hope that he will be assisted .
Afcoh appoints building managers that do not follow the Rental Housing Tribunal Act, they take the law into their own hands and create rules that are not applicable to the lease agreement that a tenants has signed. They do not consider the rights of the tenants and act on a personal level instead of a professional business level.
I have never received such bad services from a Bank, I have spoken to numerous services advisors who **** to me about my application and I would not recommend the bank to anyone
