I was unfairly dismissed on the 21st of August 2023 without being able to provide evidence for my disciplinary hearing. My ex-employer refused to provide my papers for my UIF and withheld my outstanding leave pay and provident fund. During the conciliation hearing, the Commissioner instructed Sentech furnish me with the UIF papers before concluding the meeting, allowing me to apply for my UIF. Currently, I am still fighting for my leave pay and provident fund. Despite both Sentech and Momentum being served by the Sheriff, they continue to withhold these payments. With over 20 years dedicated to Sentech, I estimate saving them around 16 million by being proactive with stakeholders. I've written to the pension fund adjudicator and am awaiting the outcome. Two Judges I approached confirmed Sentech's ******** withholding of my provident fund. I believe there must be a court order or admission of guilt; however, none has been issued. I express my disappointment in an employer to whom I dedicated my life, only to be ill-treated in this manner.
The lady called Bandile is very professional and friendly in her conduct. Everytime she could assist me with a quick solution. It is really a pleasure in dealing with her as an Pineapple Insurance Ambassador.
I tried to cancel my Fibre line with them early August. And even though the account reflected up to date with their billing and accounts department it did not reflect with Vodacom Fibre department. Meaning they could not help me to cancel the line. I had to wait for the new account pay and then contact them again to see if my account reflect up to date. Before they cod cancel my account. I paid the end of August and it reflected with Vodacom accounts and billing and I even send mypriof of payment. And still it did not reflect I was told I must wait again until it reflect on their system before they can cancel. I called twice this week and o ly yesterday on the 6th September it reflects and I was told they an only cancel the end of October. I could speak to anyone senior to help me. They rather said they will escalate the issue. I have no confidence in Vocacom Fibre even when there was a fault on the line it took them about a week to repair it. I would not advice anyone to invest in their Fibre lines.
I was happy for the time I was with them. I had to revisit the premium and found a much cheaper one. But I was always impressed with their service and they were always friendly and professional in their conduct.
