Revo property is an absolute ****. I called Rachelle who is in their rental department as I am looking for a place to stay. I have a bursary with Investec Bank which is a full cost bursary that covers payments for my rental. On their application form for students who have a bursary, they do not mention anything about Surety or account payer that they need to represent you as the occupant of the property in case your bursary defaults. Now Rachelle told me that I can provide my dad's ID who will be my surety and his 6 months bank statements in the event that he does not have payslips. Now after I have paid an application fee of R1095, first of all they do not process my application until I call them about a day later, this lady called Alina starts telling me that she needs Invoices and letters from accountants that I need to state my dad's income before they can process my application. All of this is not mentioned before a person applies, but is now mentioned after they have received the application fee which is non-refundable. Revo property is an absolute **** of a company and no student should be using it. They are preying on students because students are not brave enough to challenge this. This is highly ********* and they should be called out for it. You cannot be requesting further documents that you never mentioned before an application fee was paid because many people who could not provide the documents you require would have withdrawn from applying. I am extremely angry about this and I would not recommend them to anyone.
Skynet has been tasked with a simple task of delivering my order from Vodacom. It has been weeks now. I have been waiting since the 4th of December and it is now the 27th of December. I would recommend any company to not use Skynet if they do not want to disappoint their customers. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with this level of incompetence.
I have been waiting an order that was done online on the 4th of December to be delivered. It is the 27th of December today and I am still waiting. The level of incompetence from Vodacom and Skynet when I call and they don’t even know where my order is and they say it has been delivered is beyond comprehension. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with this.
I recently signed a leased agreement for a furnished room with My Living Space which is a real estate agent in Cape Town. The rental was R7500 and the deposit was the same amount. The lease agreement stated that I needed to pay an amount of R2000 if I do not fumigate the property before I leave. Upon staying at the room i was renting, the bed provided was subpar and the wardrobe was so small that it didn’t even have shelves. So I queried about these issues and was told that I can get my own bed if I want to. Also there was only one normal fridge with a single door for the freezer and normal part of the fridge and two bar fridges for sharing between 10 tenants. So I decided to terminate my lease. 72 hours had not yet passed when I did this and I went through a process of finding a replacement tenant so that I can get my deposit back. Now I found a tenant and they started renting the place. The agent now tells me that I have to pay R1500 for the fact that I did not advertise the room when the tenant they have came through me. Also I have to pay R2000 for fumigating despite not staying over 72 hours in the property. I am due to get no refunds for the rental amount and my deposit refund is now R4000. This is *****ed at its finest. The correspondence from the company is also very poor. There is no phone number you can call and you can only talk to them through a lady called Bhavna. She often was not responding to my texts as soon as I wanted to terminate my lease.
