Dear Std Bank Insurance - you are doing what you do so well. Ignoring my complaint hoping that I will forget about the claim which I submitted last year. I am appalled at your absolute lack of customer service. Having read the millions of complaints, you obviously do not take any pride in doing your job efficiently. Please don't take too many years to "investigate", I am still waiting for feedback. I wont hold my breath!
We have had insurance with Std Bank since pa fell off the bus. Their first answer is always NO or they take so long to pay you out, hoping that you will forget :( Six months to pay out for a burst geyser is ridiculous & only paid after a senior manager at our branch queried why it was taking so long. The latest is my best. Did you know you must climb onto your roof on a regular basis to inspect it for any damage? The accessor told my husband - who is 68, had two hip replacements, that either he or a roofing company need to make regular inspections, I kid you not! Well done Std Bank Insurance for refusing to pay for a genuine claim. You received all the reports necessary & photos proving that there was a hole in the roof sheeting the size of a small rock, caused by a leaking geyser. Have a really nice day.
Fantastic customer service from the home loan insurance department. This level of service is what we expect from our bank, which is lacking in so many other companies in South Africa. You deserve the 5 stars.
I must give credit to the Traffic Department in Bredasdorp. Their service is amazing, friendly & so professional! Well done, its refreshing to to see a provincial department working to well :)
I placed an order on 14th December, to be delivered to Bredasdorp depot. On 21 December I received an email from Zarah M who wanted to confirm our physical address for a delivery. No delivery. I yet again emailed Zarah M who stated that the items would be delivered by Sat 23rd December. No delivery. I went to the depot in Bredasdorp who had absolutely NO record of having received my order, it was sent to a depot in Cape Town. Now the order has been cancelled because I did not collect it!!!! It is difficult to collect an order which has been sent to the wrong depot, 220kms away from where I live! Takealot has my correct physical address & correct depot address, confirmed by the staff at the Bredasdorp depot. These items were meant to be in use before Christmas. Please do not send me the bog standard reply of how sorry you are or this is not your normal service, or blah blah blah.... You should be renamed - use less alot. Here's hoping that Amazon will have a better ethos.
Customer service - is lacking in spades at ABSA. The consultant who I spoke to was really arrogant. Her stance is that the bank is right & the customer is wrong. We are pensioners trying to get our money back , which has been deducted monthly for more than two years, even after we called customer service & visited our local branch to try & sort out this query. To be perfectly frank, Absa isn't interested in sorting this out, they have made this perfectly clear by the follow up call received.
We are pensioners and have been ********** by ABSA bank for the last 3 years! We have tried to cancel this card till it expired, but the card fee is still being deducted from our bank account. We have phoned the customer care number, we have visited the branch in Bredasdorp twice but no one has helped nor are they interested in helping. To date the bank has taken over R2,500 of our money.Please help.
