I want to warn anyone thinking about renting at Eden Sandton through Synium Property Group: proceed with extreme caution. Despite being a good tenant, taking great care of the property, and meeting every obligation under my lease, I have been met with unfair treatment when it comes to getting my deposit back. When I moved out, instead of a fair and transparent process, my deposit has been withheld without justification. Emails to Angela from Synium Property Group have gone unanswered, leaving me ignored and forced to chase after what is legally and rightfully mine. This is not just unprofessional, it is exploitative. Tenants deserve respect and fair treatment. From my experience, you should expect to jump through endless hoops if you ever want your deposit back. If you are considering Eden Sandton or working with Synium Property Group, think very carefully. Signing a lease here puts you at serious risk of losing your deposit no matter how well you care for the property
Living at Eden Sandton has been a deeply disappointing experience. The complex is in a constant state of decline, with mould on the walls posing serious health risks, peeling paint, and generally unhygienic conditions. Despite repeated reports, the body corporate shows no concern or urgency in addressing these issues. To make matters worse, electricity costs are inexplicably high, R1000 worth of prepaid electricity barely lasts four days for a single occupant who mainly uses electricity for lights. There’s always issues with the gate, posing significant security issues and compromising the safety of tenants. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I have reason to believe this company is selling my personal information. I keep receiving calls from insurance companies, and when I ask where they got my details, they consistently mention Origin5. This is a serious violation of my privacy, as it is ********* to sell personal information without consent. What’s even more troubling is that I have never interacted with Origin5, so I have no idea how they obtained my details to pass on to other companies. I’ve blocked over 80 numbers, yet the calls persist, leaving me with no peace while using my phone due to this constant harassment.
I had the best experience with the consultant, she was so friendly and patient with me. She answered all my questions and was able to help me with all my concerns. She even told me if I continue driving well I’ll get money next year and I’m excited about that. Keep up the good work you guys! I love you all so much
