I am writing this with utter disgust and annoyance.. On 30th April at around 8.15pm I took the kids out for ice cream to McDonalds on North Rand road in boksburg. We ordered 7 ice creams from the drive through the lady took our order 5 times before getting it right. Our order was 7 dipped cones. 5 caramel 1 without flake and the 4 with flake. 2 chocolate 1 without flake and 1 with flake. What's so difficult about this order? We had to park at the door for the ice creams. Kids got impatient and went to collect the ice creams they came out with 3 chocolate ice creams all with flakes. I sent back the ice cresms as I seen it was incorrect. The staff told my kids they made a mistake and the 1 extra with flake is for free as they cannot take out the flake from the ice cream. They then gave us short flake on the caramel. My son enquired and they shouted at him. I then went into the store with my pjs and gown and they told me they made a mistake and I should pull out my flake and give it to the one that is short. I explained to them that I'm not willing to do this as they told the kids they made a mistake and it was free and I sent back the ice creams to be rectified. Your staff then accused me of wanting a free flake when I'm trying to explain to them it's their mess up and I did send back the ice creams. The staff told me that the lady taking the order didn't explain to them properly. So if it's your staffs mistake why should I bear the brand. Your so called manager then chipped In yelling at me being extremely rude to me. I went back to my car for my Phone and he swore me showing me his middle finger and tells me "***** take a pic". I do did take a pic of home showing me his middle finger. Pointing fingers in me face and threatening me. Your staff can't take a proper Ice Cream order and on top of it don't apologise. Is this how you train your staff ?? When they slip up with orders it's ok to blame innocent customers. Your manager is pathetic and arrogant. I would like your input on this ASAP as I'm extremely furious. Aadila ********** 143
