I called in for a quote and advised the sales consultant that I would confirm if I am still proceeding with policy or not, the person I spoke to was Nic Chauke. He proceeded with the policy and debit order run without my confirmation. Today the 18th of May 2026, I contacted OUTsurance to cancel my policy after confirming that another insurer offered benefits better suited to my needs. During this call I spoke to Thami Ntsibande, who repeatedly attempted to persuade me not to proceed with the cancellation despite my CLEAR decision!! I repeatedly asked him/her to assist with sending the cancellation letter and not try and convince me, they still went ahead trying to twist my arm, You cannot FORCE your policy on me when I repeatedly asked him/her to not convince me otherwise. It was so so frustrating and annoying to not want to be heard. I was then asked to hold for one minute by THAMI , but was left waiting for approximately 9 minutes without any communication or updates. The lack of professionalism, communication, and respect for my time resulted in a very disappointing customer service experience. Do better with your retention skills!!!!
We arrived with my family and infant, ordered rooibos tea which took 35 mins to arrive. Got the tea which was cold. My friend ordered hot chocolate got a Chai latte. The order took another 20 mins for simple drinks!!! The food took over an hour to arrive. Yet other people who arrived AFTER us, got their food before us! We asked the manger what’s the reason for the delay, no proper explanation was provided and she was very condescending with her responses and sounded a if we didn’t matter. She actually sounded very bias and ****** as if our money is of no value compared to other patrions. I liked what I saw on your website but clearly didn’t meant any proper decorum I anticipated. No more. I’ll spend my time and money with other restaurants.
I was sold a funeral Policy(Brokerage (FSP): Blackrose Capital) and inception of policy began on 03 June 2023, I have been requesting for a policy schedule form the staff member who sold me the policy as well as from the manager Titos Mashaba. Debit orders go off every month and I still don't know what I'm paying for. Eventually the manager sent me email with the cancellation form and it requests that i fill in my policy number, how will I do that when a policy schedule with my Policy number was not ever provided to me. On top of that I am expected to pay a fee of R500 to partially surrender the policy or R2500 for full surrender. My banking details and ID is still required to cancel a policy? I mean what a hassle to join and what a hassle to leave the product!!! I have never received any joy from the product, should I have a death claim I need to do, how will I know who to call or where to go to get assistance? II will not provide anymore information and I want this policy cancelled and a confirmation of cancellation(which as well I'm expecting to follow up on!!!)
