Food *****'s Market Somerset West. We used to always enjoy shopping at your store. Nowadays, it sounds like a nightclub on the Cape Flats. The music is TERRIBLE and extremely loud. The other big problem is your BBQ bacon biltong. We used to shop there for many years and enjoy soft BBQ spiced bacon biltong (it was so delicious!), but all of the sudden, we're getting dried out BBQ bacon biltong. The fat was our favourite but these days one can not eat it as it is rock hard and dried out. We're forced to shop somewhere else now. Family and friends agree. Some went especially to that branch only to buy the BBQ bacon biltong, but had since shopped somewhere else. Some times I visit the biltong station in the hope they would've changed it, but they haven't yet. No one has realised the problem yet. Isn't there someone who could double check on this, like quality control? Please change it back to the way it was. Thank you.
My order was delivered on Thursday, 22 February (2024), with Aramex to Gordon's Bay Central. Our security guard came to me afterward and complained that the Aramex driver refused to obey the rules of this complex. According to the guard, this was the very same drivers' fourth warning. I would appreciate it if you could talk to the driver involved and be assured that this does not happen again. Your driver keeps on parking in a space where it is clearly marked NOT to park there. He parks there even though he knows not to. This is unacceptable. I can't recommend your service to other clients or loved ones if your driver can't even follow a simple order. This is embarrassing, and I'm deeply disappointed.
I placed an order on the 21/09/2023 (Order# 2020940985). Today is 28/09/2023, and I'm still waiting for my items to be delivered. I received a message saying they would deliver on 25/09/2023. That never happened. I telephoned the branch (Builders Warehouse City - Ysterplaat) on 26/09/2023, and I was told they would deliver on 27/09/2023. That never happened. I telephoned again and was told they had a "technical problem" and was unable to deliver. They could've notified me because I had to take off from work to be at home. I was told they will deliver on 28/09/2023. That never happened. I telephoned the branch again and I was transferred to at least five different people. I asked each of them in a calm and respectful tone if I could speak to the branch manager and all of them transferred me to the wrong person. Some people even responded to my question as if they didnt know what a branch manager is. Come to think of it now, it seems like none of them knows what a branch manager is. Eventually I was cut off after holding at least 15 minutes. I telephoned customer service again and I was told someone at the Ysterplaat branch said the items will be delivered tomorrow (29/09). This is totally unprofessional and unacceptable on Builders Warehouse part. What are the people doing there if they can't even get an online order right? I am disgusted in the Ysterplaat branch and their poor customer service. I will not support them ever again.
