I recently sent my Car to VW Tableview for an engine problem, so they quoted me R62 000 to fix it. I gave them a go ahead and I paid all the money, they called me days later and said the car still has the same problem and I need to replace the engine after paying R62 000. I tried calling the head office but they didn’t help at all. I ended up getting my car with the same problem after paying R62 000. Very bad experience with VW Tableview.
I have been with Discovery Insure for 3 years & this is my first time putting a claim with them and it’s their service has been very poor. I had an incident on the 18th of June 2023 & I have been without my car for 4 months now. The panel beater has been giving me stories over the phone and their never reply to my emails, what is disappointing is that Discovery has been ignoring my emails, I sent numerous emails to ask them to intervene but they don’t respond to my emails and when I called them they always say they will get back to me but they never actually do. The frustrating thing about this is the fact that Discovery Insure is still debiting their debit order and I’m using a lot of money on Uber (for work & my family). They haven’t provided any assistance (e.g lease car) considering the long period of time I have been without my car. The experience I’m having with Discovery Insure makes me conclude that they don’t value their customers (client).
Panel City Mthatha has given me bad customer service. My car has been with them since the 18th of June 2023 & it’s still with them even now, they have been giving me excuses when I called them & they don’t reply to my emails. They have never initiated communication to give me updates I’m the one who must call them & sometimes they say they will get back to me & they never do. Their manager(Hendry) never had time to talk to me when I request to speak. to him
