They deducted for a policy that i canceled already, i sent a request for a refund in November 2025 and on the 29 November I received an sms stating that my refund was paid of which i never received. First week of December I phoned in again the lady i spoke to said the person i spoke to made a mistake as the refund will be processed on the 08 of December. To date I have not received my money, when you phone you hold forever and get transferred because i am in the wrong department. Their service is pathetic, they don't even deserve that one star, they actually deserve none.
One of our life policy was in arears and we sent an email to ABSA requesting the amount & account number so we can make the payment and so the details was sent to my email only to find that they sent me an incorrect account number. I have been trying to resolve the query with no luck. Every time I must phone to do a follow and they say they will phone me back but I never receive any call. I have spoken to Sifiso, Teddy and Tsholofelo on different days who were all going to call me back with an update but they never did. Yesterday afternoon sent an email to Tsholofelo and received no response thus far.
I visited the bookshop in Tokai yesterday after work, thanks to the team for the great service. They were very friendly and helpful even though it was closing time, they still had their beautiful smiles and still gave me superb service irrespective of the time. Keep up the great customer service :)
We went into the store today in the afternoon at Kenilworth centre,there was two ladies and one guy having a conversation. We walked around looking no one acknowledged us as we walked in and even after we were walking around looking nobody offered assistance they just continued with thier conversation as if we were not there as a result ended up leaving the store. No service whatsoever it's like we were invisible to them.
Pathetic service from Francis at Pick n pay retreat. She decided to ignore me standing next to her and assisted another customer who spoke to her in Afrikaans. She showed no remorse and just walked away as if I was not talking to her. Her attitude is terrible I would recommend customer service training for her as it seems like she has no idea what that is. I would never go to her till ever again, I would rather walk out than have to go to her till 😡 Thank you Nosicelo and the manager on duty for jumping in to assist with my cashback much appreciated.
On the 05.10.23 I requested a letter from Capitec stating that I have cancelled all my stop orders, initially I was told I will receive it in 24 to 48 hours, to date I have not received anything. Whenever I phone to do a follow its always in progress. I am utterly disappointed by their customer services and I am also frustrated as I had to put my plans on hold due to not receiving this letter.
