They are always friendly and happy when I spend R7000.00-R8000.00 on preschool books for my school in Somerset West. My daughter has a friend in Tokai and I asked her to buy 10 books for my school. Some of the books were not correct and she made a mistake with some and they were still in the original packaging. Yesterday I drove there from Somerset West to exchange the books. I was told that they have a 7-day policy and that it’s their law and the young man laughed at me and the lady gave me an attitude. I was so cross and just walked out and left the book on the counter. I will never waste my time, money or diesel again.

Misleading and Dishonest advertising. The website advertise books at lower costs because of a dot 'Some books MAY have a red or black dot or line on the edge of the page by the spine. This is because the books is a cleared item. That's why the price is so AMAZING' WHICH IS NOT THE TRUTH... Below is the correct reason of a dot or stripe... Remaindered books or remainders are printed books that are no longer selling well, and the remaining unsold copies of which are liquidated by the publisher at greatly reduced prices. While publishers may take a net loss on the sales of such books, they are able to recover at least some of their sunk costs on the sale and to clear out space in the warehouses

I ordered books online for pick up and live some distance from the Diepriver store. Despite numerous attempts to call the store during office hours, no one picks up. I called a different branch and they said they will try and call the store and get back to me. I am still waiting. Poor service. Do they even want business.

I visited the bookshop in Tokai yesterday after work, thanks to the team for the great service. They were very friendly and helpful even though it was closing time, they still had their beautiful smiles and still gave me superb service irrespective of the time. Keep up the great customer service :)

We went into the store today in the afternoon at Kenilworth centre, there was two ladies and one guy having a conversation. We walked around looking no one acknowledged us as we walked in and even after we were walking around looking nobody offered assistance they just continued with thier conversation as if we were not there as a result ended up leaving the store. No service whatsoever it's like we were invisible to them.

I cannot in good conscience give them a higher score than 2 - which is already gracious. It was EXTREMELY hard to communicate with staff. I tried to find out if I would be able to order books through them, but they clearly do not read your requests as they kept pointing to the books in the series that reflect on their website (even though I indicated their existence as well. I just ended up using a different site for those books, but the books I did order were poorly wrapped and able to move about in the books - damaging the sides.

I ordered a book 3 weeks ago and was told they will call me. No one did. I went in this weekend to enquire and was told no one ordered it!! Now that’s service for you! Won’t be buying anything more from such a business. Sadly disappointed once again in poor South African service
