I am closing my account, last month I did a transaction to Zambia and used the card number instead of a account number, I then went to the branch to ask them to recall the money (reverse) it back to my account, they agreed and said it will be return in the next 10working days and they gonna charge me R150 per transaction cause it was 2 transaction. The other one was R1560 and the 2nd one was R2 600. Yesterday I received the 1st transaction and they charged me R590.07 for that transaction cause they only returned R969.93. Capitec overcharged me and the agent that assisted had the nerve to say I didn't read the print lines that were never communicated with me. Open capitec account at your own risk!
I lodge in a claim with Hollard Regent Policy last year 2023 around May and they never responded to my claim around Aug I did a follow up with them to no success none of their consulted gave me a proper answer. I then came here to write a review in November of which one their consulted Tinah Mawunda, reach out to me via email to ask one of his team to assist me in the complain department, Hlawulani Maluleke reach out to ask the particulars of the policy of which I gave them out to him till this day I am still waiting for his respond. Then Sibongile Nxumalo from the claim department then reach out in January 2024 to ask the particulars again and said she will be handing over the documents to her superiors I tried to do a follow up but with no luck I can't find answers nor has the claim been paid. Hollard SA is not paying out claims don't take their policy because your loved ones will struggle when they have get what's due to them. You will regret having a policy with them.
I made a claim from June, regarding my late grandfather's regent policy and sent all the documents you requested till this day I haven't received any communication or payment. I tried to call several times as a follow up and I still don't get a clear answer.
