I’m honestly shocked by my experience at West Pack. I asked two different staff members where I could find bottled water, and neither of them seemed to understand what I meant. They even led us to the section with water bottles instead, and we had to explain multiple times that we were looking for water in a bottle — bottled water! I’ve bought bottled water here before, so I don’t understand how this was so confusing. The lack of basic product knowledge and customer understanding was really disappointing.
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Uber Eats on 08 February 2025. I placed an order for two meals around 7:30 PM, and by 8:00 PM, the driver had collected my order. However, instead of delivering, they remained stuck in one spot for over an hour. I tried reaching out multiple times—my messages were ignored, and all calls to the driver went unanswered. In desperation, I turned to the Uber Eats “Help” function, hoping to get an ETA. After multiple prompts, I was finally connected to an agent, but only via text, not a phone call. To my shock, even the agent was unable to contact the driver, and the only solution offered was for me to cancel the order and request a refund. So after two hours of waiting, with no food and no real resolution, my night ended in frustration and disappointment. Uber Eats needs to seriously improve their customer service and driver communication—this is completely unacceptable.
I am extremely disappointed with Makro’s online shopping service. I placed an order on 13 December and was notified on 17 December that my order had been packed and dispatched. However, just one day later, I received an email saying my order had been canceled because the items were suddenly out of stock. How does a retailer confirm dispatch and then later claim the items are unavailable? This reflects a severe lack of coordination and inventory management. I re**** on Makro to fulfill my order in time, only to have my expectations completely let down. This experience has made me question whether I can trust Makro for any future online purchases. Makro, please improve your processes — this is unacceptable for a retailer of your scale.
