I am a returning customer to PG Primador where I previously received good service and quality products. I recently ordered aluminum windows from them again and have been terribly disappointed in their customer service. Today is business day 18 and I'm still waiting for my windows to be delivered which was promised in 12-15 days, now holding up my project. Unless I contact them, communication is not forthcoming. Promised call-backs, do not happen. The April public holidays are understandably challenging, but at least some communication would be helpful to plan. Their challenges with couriers/delivery staff are made my problem.
I recently took my Volvo in for its annual service at CMH Volvo Fourways. The car had no issues and only required an oil and filter change. The service consultant later call me with the quote, saying my front brakes are 'metal-on-metal' and they and my wipers needed replacement. This sounded strange as the brakes were not screeching as it would do, if that was the case. The consultant was insistent that the mechanic recommends that the brake pad and disks be replaced and I gave authorisation. When picking up the car, I asked to inspect the parts that were removed - The disks barely had any wear on them and the pad had half their life left - certainly not metal-on-metal. The mechanic and manager had no excuses, nor apologies. The unnecessary replacements were at least removed from my invoice. I suspect this is common practice at CMH Volvo Fourways when customers don't query their parts replacement.
