Discovery Vitality Travel is a huge **** that wants one to sign up for a Discovery Bank account in order to access travel savings. Being a Vitality member is not sufficient - one needs a Discovery Bank account also. Discovery should change the name to Discovery Bank Travel and stop the false advertising.

Medallion Pools contracted Ultra Solar to install solar panels to heat my pool in 2011. The solar panels were damaged by hail in November 2016 and upon calling Medallion Pools they referred me to the solar panel provider Ultra Solar. Ultra Solar requested a call out fee of R600 (six hundred rand) before they would come to conduct the evaluation and repairs. This advance fee was paid on Monday 21 November 2016 and Utra Solar indicated that they will come to my premises on Thursday 24 November.

They never came and when I called on Friday 25 November they indicated that there was rain in my area on Thursday and that they would come on Monday. When asked why they did not call me to explain their no-show they said that I can take my money back and go elsewhere. I agreed to accept a refund and sent them my banking details immediately. They promised to refund me the same day Friday 25 November 2016 but did not. That same day they also told Medallion Pools that they had already refunded me the full amount of R600.

When I called on Monday 28 November 2016 to find out about my refund they hung up the phone several times. I eventually called from another number and when Yolandi answered the phone she said that they will pay the refund soon but could not give me an exact date or time. She then hung up the phone when I insisted on receiving the refund immediately.

This company is obviously taking deposits from unsuspecting clients and then stringing them along without providing the service or refund. They are accepting money under false pretences.
