Loving Our Warm Pool!
We got Ultra Solar to install solar heating for our pool, and it’s been awesome! The water stays nice and warm without hiking up our electricity bill. The whole process was super easy – installation was quick, and the team knew what they were doing.

Ultra Solar - Alberton............cheap materials causes non working solar system
Dear Fellow Soth Africans, Please be aware of the company called Ultra Solar (in Alberton). They claim to be specialists in Solar heating and specifically Solar heating of pool water. This Solar heating system works with black pipes and black mats on the roof, where the water is pumped through to be heated by the sun. So the pipes and matts get very warm, but that's what you want. This company installed a solar system on my new house and not so long after the installation, the black pipes started to disform. The advice was from the company ( the secialist) that the pipes are getting too warm in the sun, so that's why they melt! OMW.....really? We buy the system to get hot, to heat up the water that goes through. And now the pipes melt? Long story short, it's clear that this company is not interested in a good working system, so they use cheap and thin materials. Resulting in melting black pipes on the roof and a leaking system. And after some discussions with the company, they offered (if I pay for it again) to replace their wrong material pipes. So, please avoid this crowd. They seem to know what they are doing, but are actually cheating with materials and functionality. Marvin

Ultra-Solar are SCAMMERS!!!
These are scammers. They WILL take your money and you will be left without a delivery. They made several errors & inconsistencies on their "invoice" - Capitec does NOY have business accounts. The VAT number is fake. CIPC doesn't recognize the PTY Ltd name. The Company Registration number belongs to someone completely else. The website ultra-solar.co.za was registered January 2022

The best pool heating company
I would just like to personally thank Gerald from Ultra Solar. Your Service, helpfulness, friendliness and your Professional work. Without you, our pool would have been a disaster. We had about 4 different pool companies to try and attend to our problems. Each guy had a different suggestion to what the problem could be. None of them could fix the problem. We got Gerald's number from a friend that said, only use him, he will tell you straight away what the problem is. Gerald came out, inspected the pool. Immediately he spotted the problem. He guaranteed there is a problem with our suction, this is why our pool pump and solar is not working efficient enough. He fixed what he said was wrong. After that our pool has been a dream, sparkling blue and heated the way it should be. Thank you again Gerald (Ultra Solar). I will only trust his expertise and would recommend him to any one with a problem on there pool issues. PS: Don't forget to come install our New Heat pump before winter.

Awful experience!
Bad installation. They would not take responsibility. Took them almost 3 months to get reason why it was not performing. I had to get a second opinion to find out the the installation was done incorrectly. The front of the inverter Pool Heater could not be facing a wall that is 0.5m in front. This is not an opinion, I have the photos of before and after. I also organized the installation manual, and the minimum requirements needed for these type devices to be efficient .....were not met in the installation by a huge difference. This experience left me bitterly disappointed and cost me extra money. When i stated my argument, I found that all they did was try blame other factors and not honest at all.

Choosing Ultra Solar for pool heater installations is a no brainer. They are just in a class of their own. The team is professional, efficient, effective, friendly, competent, positive. Ultra Solar is the ultimate company in Pool Solar Heating
Choosing Ultra Solar for pool heater installations is a no brainer. They are just in a class of their own. The team is professional, efficient, effective, friendly, competent, positive. The company is honest and definitely not there just to make a quick buck. They go out of their way to deliver an exceptional service. 10 000 times thank you.

not honoring of guarantee- ignoring customer communication
We have used Ultra sola for years, and found them to be quite reliable and professional- that is until we had them refurbish our pool and paint it with epoxy last year. The pool surface soon started to bubble. After contacting them, i was assured this was normal and would resolve. A year later, the bubbles started to blister and rub off. After multiple attempts to get them to come to our home, Gerald came and said that it was likely ground water etc, and that he would diagnose it further etc, our pool was still under warranty. That was a month ago. we have phoned, smssed and have been completely ignored. I understand and have grace for things that do go wrong, but what i struggle to accept is a longstanding "reputable" family run company, that has amazing reviews online, not honoring their guarantee and completely ignoring customers. Very very dishonoring
