Unfair customer treatment! Leandra real estate has Shown us as tenants time and time again why they are just your typical agent that Never takes responsibility when you as a poor old tenant need urgent assistance. Our Security cameras and beams have still not been fixed/replaced! It has been 8 months! We have had burglaries in our crescent and we require Leandra real estate to immediately attend to this. We are being told that if we get it done ourselves we will be responsible for the payment to contractors. If we do this and pay for it and dare to deduct it from the rent we will be in the wrong and go against contract terms and conditions. What else can we do than sending numerous desperate emails, whatsapps, making phone calls?? The only positive thing in this whole experience with Leandra real estate is that We now know exactly what not to do when he own our own properties and rent them out in the near future. We are the best tenants that any landlord can ask for. But we are not being treated fairly. Please be careful when dealing with Leandra real estate.
Leandra real estate is, As with any other agency, Brilliant in the beginning when you want to sign up for a property. However, a few months into the lease agreement when things start to get questioned, they do not want to take responsibility for agreements made verbally. Now look, The mistake was made to make a verbal agreement about anything in the first place but this is how rental agents operate… They listen to all your problems you have with the property and they make you feel that you can trust them as if they were family. But then it happened, exactly what happens every single time: The agreement is now put to the test when the agreed upon situation becomes a problem. Ourselves and Leandra agreed that we will not pay for the current Wifi in the house and upon moving in we will cancel our existing Wifi at the previous house. The wifi membership cost will then be includes in the rental amount. Great! all sorted when making the agreement… NOT AT ALL! 4 months later she says “Oh I forgot to send you invoices for the outstanding internet costs” Now this explains one thing; She knows she is wrong and now she needs to tell the owners of the house that she “forgot” to bill us for the wifi. No, she decides not to take that responsibility and comfortably refers to the contract that states that wifi is for the tenants cost. she was very aggressive with this and billed us for the 4 months in one go! It is most definitely states in the contract that tenants must pay for internet usage but We had the “verbal” agreement, which seems to be useless now. What I am trying to say is that se knows exactly about our agreement but now that we had an issue she decides to penalize us “the tenants” instead. Typical agent behaviour. So as a warning; Please send everything in writing to Leandra when you do business with her. She will deny any verbal agreements. Obviousely this is not the only problem we have had with Leandra real estates. The rest is just too many to mention on this platform. We just want to make people aware about this. Oh and of course, We will not be paying the “outstanding internet bills” Thanks!
I just phoned their office on number 0100150005. After quite a long wait, a guy answered the phone and simply said “There is no one here, phone tomorrow” What the hell guys? It is 15h50 on a Wednesday afternoon, 27 March 2024 and that’s how you answer your phone? There is something seriousely wrong with your attitude and business and phone etiquette. That is definitely not how a company should answer any phone call ever. They are based in Randburg but I don’t know how they still have a dealership with this rude way of doing any kind of business.
After installation service is the worst! Since the beginning of March 2024 I have had issues with the Inverter system tripping my power. Wetility has sent numerous technicians, apprentances etc to my house to solve issues. The same issues occur until this day 22 March 2024 Our freezer in our house has not been working for several days, Wetility promised to refund the value of the food. This has still not been honoured. I am fed up and I do not know what else to do. Send Qualified electricians immediately or come and remove this flawed system of yours! I hereby warn every single person who wants to get a Wetility Pace system to rather NOT do it.
