Again poor service. I queried my wifi not working at first helpful but never gave me ETA on my query and had later when following up said i must wait 24 to 48 hours which is unacceptable as i was not made aware of such period. Then i was put through to a so called supervisor which in actual fact was only an agent whom proceeded to laugh at me and make fun of me within her office and thought i would notice it in her voice and not hear her colleagues laughing the back round. She then tried to deny it and after blaming her colleagues apologized for not taking me serious her name Matobela and she didn't want to give me her surname. When she knew she was in trouble she put me trough to tandiwe who suddenly could give me an answer in 2 minutes saying that the first operator had to tell me that my feedback from the LTE department was that i have to put the telkom sim into my phone as there is no telkim towers down in my area it might be my router that is 2 and a half months old. I must try and they will call me back in an half an hour after giving me the settings to use it from my phone. Well they only phoned me after almost 2 hours. When i said that it seems like the router she proceeded to tell me that i must pay for pickup for the router to send me a new one if it was indeed broken which it is because it does not read my sim card. My router is still under warranty as i bought it at R1500 and all must be covered under that warranty. So they must credit me for the faulty device and come collect it i they want it back i had nothing but trouble with then from day one.I will not reccomend them at all
On 22 November i opterd for a LTE pakage with them as not many provider have signal in our area of Mtwalume and fibre is not available. Firstly i had a few issues with the site loading rica docs as their site is not very clear to say what they need and had to load and query on their whats app service to what exactly was needed. Then after loading everything setting up my debit order confirming my bank details and and it was alll down hill from there. They deducted the first 1499 for my router. I queried ETA on it and was informed that they will first configure the device and then 3 to 8 days after it will be delivered at a cost of 249 uhm no my invoice didn't state that and the package said free delivery nationwide as it was a special offer.... Okay fine... After 25th when the money went of i couldnt trace my order at all on the app site which i had to register on to order it i queried again on ETA and they said no my order is not yet processed as it take a few days foe accounts to make sure they did receive it... Mind you their app says 3 to 8 days for delivery this. Was now a few days after and nothing else was done. At my next query they informed me that only after the device was configured they will sens me an email with the details and then it will go out for delivery. Okay guess its okay we are ready at day 6. Then i get a invoice billing me proratta from the 29th of november for a product i did not recieve on that date nor wpuld i be recieving it until my birthday with alot of frustration and the company accusing me to be at fault for non delivery of which i have proof amd many witnesses that the courier company wasnt near my address at said time neither dis they call me as requested before hand. 1st Dec i received and sms that my package will be delivered it wasnt and the reason without calling was i wasnt at the address which i was sonce the morning at 9:23 that i received the package waisting the whole day at home waiting. I queried and only was told they dont know the real reason but i had to wait till 4 dec... 4 December again early notice again myself and my family confined our selves to our home 2 o clock i queried why i havnt had any call in regards to my package... Mind you in the intrim i was charged and deducted from my account from. The 29th of november for something not in use for already 5 days, i qieroed it and was promised by management that they talked to accounts and they will credit it... Okay that would be good. The whole day passed no call from the courier whole day none from afrihost at 19.22 i track the parcel and the reason for non delivery is that they could nit reach me huh? I had no calls all day no missed calls registered on my phone or my hubbies as he was registered as my second contact????? And i checked on my order and afrihost profile my nr as well as address were correct. Again now fuming about the couries lies i contacyed afrihost again and was met with a very rude man called Leonard which stated it was my fault and if i wanted to talk to a manager i must ask for it he wont do it for me. I was in that conversation for almost two hours. He finally took him so long and a manager called me back it took me to treaten to go to the police and my bank to file a theft and ***** charge giving them till 12 the afternoon to either refund me or send the package. There i talked to Mr Happy Machobela who promised to call me back within 30 min to an hour which he never did... All off a sudden when i had left for the police station to open a case after waiting for Mr H Machobela's return call that never happened. At just after 12 the courier suddenly found my address and my nr also worked without any problems i raced home to recieve it... Thinking okay i can forget this and start afresh... Nooo uhm when it came to turn the wifi router on we had other problems as the router was not cofigured as stated the sim was just slammed in there yet again had to talk to afrihost on what to do now then it was this and that do this and that. And i saw that the my divices got a link to a router similar to mine but i wasnt sure as i was given specific instructioms to use the configuration names that came with the router... IT WAS NOT CONFIGURED TO IT AT ALL. So at the end i figured ut out myself and used the router password. Okay fine now I thought maybe give them a chance.... Yesterday i recieved an email retracting what Mr H Machobela told me and that they will not credit the prorata as it was my fault they couldnt deliver... 1. Security says there was no delivery service near the complex at the time and if they were by just scanning their license tbey would have let them in to come to my house... 2.no one ever struggled to phone me funny as on my birthday i recived many calls as per nr on my order profile without problems? They deal with a dishonest courier and unfortunately while package is not delivered tbey reprisent Afrihost. I will not recommend them at all as they are quick to take your money but not willing to give what was paid for.
