Purchased a new geyser from Zeds Mitchell’s Plain in 2019 and then on the 07th October 2020 logged a service call 97-235534 the geyser burst it was then replaced with a new geyser on the 08th October 2020, the new geyser with the same Serial number of the old geyser purchased in 2019. Two weeks later we had another service call logged 101-238409 dd 24/10/2020 to have the Anode replaced on the brand new replacement geyser not even two years later the new geyser with the same Serial number of the old geyser of 2019 was replaced again case number 121-349262 dd 21.06.2022. Yesterday the 09/04/2025 the geyser burst again, I then called Zeds Mitchell’s Plain about the burst and was told that my warranty has expired in 2024, because they don't give new warranty on the new geyser. Their warranty starts from the first geyser installed no matter how many was installed at your premises since then. In other words the geyser is not on warranty but their installation from day one. To me that do not make sense. The warranty supposed to be base on the product. To me it shows that Kwikot geysers cannot hold a 5 year warranty and your Kwikot geyser will break before 5 years is over…. Just leaving this out there, maybe Kwikot will see it and see that the quality they sell is not lasting and they are selling inferior products to the customers.
I have been trying to sort out this account for years and every year this account keeps coming up as unpaid this account shows paid up with Xperian and still you call and ask me for payments.
